Yes it's time for another vacation and this time it's Costa Rica,,,go figure,,staying at ,,lol,, RIU Guanacaste

So my question is,,anybody been and were you able to get weed there,,,,if so what am I looking at price wise

I hung out with Scooby for a couple of weeks last year at this time but he brought the weed so Idk about purchasing the stuff.
BTW, watch when exchanging $$ - Mrs GWN & I went to get ATM cash the first time & it ended stupidly. I wanted 400 & had not studied the exchange closely (I figured the bank would have it posted) and walked out with only about 70.00.
I didn't make that mistake again.
1 US dollar = 545.00 Colon so for 400 US bucks I should have asked for 218,000 Colon.
Have fun & watch out for those little black jungle ants - those bastards carry the FIRE !!

My buddy just got back. He said its nice. Friendly but he had a wing girl with him.

Don't go into the hoods for sure. Don't go looking for "the plug" because usually that plug comes along the bad hoods , and lurking for prey... Foreigners.

Women are smokin! In both regards even I guess. Lol

thxs man,,,,great advice,,,changing our dollars before we go,,,it's 5 star 24 hour all inclusive,,were only taking what we need otherwise,,apparently it costs about 20 bucks a person just to leave Costa Rica,,all good though

We got postcards for friends and family and mailed them (through our hotel in San Jose CR) the day we left.
They arrived roughly 3 months later (and we bitch about the USPS ;-))

The company i retired from has a retreat there for overworked management personell & usually full of very young hookers .

I wish i was overworked instead of thawing my feet out from checking the mail earlier .

How do you get to your mailbox Greatwhite , sled dogs ? :)

lol,,,ok so there not up to date in the postal world,,,,I'm staying in an RIU resort,,in Guanacaste,,,and will not be bothering to send any postcards,,,might connect to Rollitup while I'm there though just to say HiGH

We got one good snow dump last week - its all melted off now.
Sunny, clear & 40 deg F.

Might have to change my handle to GreatbrownNorth if this keeps up.

Damm thats a big change & darn quick , last pic you posted the white stuff was above your cars , i figured you'd be burried :(

I wish we had it so good , damm snow is above the fence line out front & the barn outback has a drift up to the gutters , supposed to be hitting -20 tonight too , my driveway is a 600 ft long skating rink & its so cold stupid rock salt aint working .

Good thing my son brought a face cord of wood to the garage for me so we can atleast sit by the fire & think about spring , when it warms up some were going back to the city where its warmer .

When does the snow start flying where your at ? This year it didn't come till December at our places .

We usually start seeing snow in November, but being in a coastal environment and being warmed by the Pacific typically 0 deg f is our lowest we see.
That being said I have seen -20 ambient here, though when we lived in the interior we saw -73 one winter.
At that temp you go no-where without dying.

Shit , -73 is like living on the sun Its so nuts , how the hell those alaskans made it in the old days is a miracle , a fukin house made out of ice & whale oil for lamps ! thats when men were men & everybody else died .
