Going to Amsterdam in Feb!

I'm surprised the service wasn't great... i guess I was lucky to meet such chilled out coffeeshop workers. The weed looks awesome! Huge contrast, when I went it was 90F!

So, did you manage to get your weed back home? I took about a quarter, some hash and seeds but that was a train... so a little different.

I hope you weren't too cold and the majority of people were nice. Tell us more when you get back <3
Yeah maybe I was just unlucky... People have their bad days too :P I was disappointed by their service but their weed is great. The Blue Cheese is a must and the Liberty Haze was really good too.
It was pretty cold for me, since we never get any below zero temperatures here. But we managed to survive by wearing warm clothes and drinking a lot of hot chocolate haha. The best was Easy Times', we always had one in the morning because it was on the way from the hotel to the Dam square.

I didn't bring back any weed over fears of getting caught (even though nothing major would happen probably). My friend brought like 6g in his hold luggage though and he didn't have any issues. I regret not having brought the 2 or 3 grams I had left... Ended up giving them to a cool guy in a coffeeshop.

Did you rent a bike? That's the funnest part about amsterdam in my opinion. Well that and smoking weed on the street.
We ended up not renting bikes because we don't ride bikes often and the roads were icy! I think we'd probably fall lol.

Here's some more stuff, I'll post more as I remember:
We stopped a couple times at the Little coffeeshop. It's pretty small, with 4 tables but the people were friendly and the music was pretty nice. Their smoke was good too. Try the chocolope!
There was a small coffeeshop called Pacific close to our hotel. The weed was pretty good and the prices were fair, I recommend the Crystal.
I rememember we ran into a coffeeshop called The Other Side and went in as it was snowing quite heavily. The guy was pretty friendly and the music was chilled out. Don't buy weed here though! It's crap and it's prepackaged. The tables also have a sign saying they're reserved for customers or something.
We went to Dampkring 2, in the Haarlemmerstraat, as well. The service was pretty good for the weed, but the drinks waitress wasn't as friendly. The weed was pretty good, I bought some Super Lemon Haze here which was really good :)

Also, you have to be careful in Amsterdam or you'll be run over by a bike or a tram! Especially bikes, people won't stop if you're crossing the street! lol

Yeah man... those trams are deadly. Running silent down the middle of the road with no gates or anything. I thought it was mad.

One last question? Did you make it to the red light district? That just blew me away.

Good plan on the bikes with icy roads.... that wouldn't have been a good scene. I'm really glad you had a good time. It's a nice place huh? You should see it in the summer sometimes... just lovely.

Thanks for sharing what you did and stuff. It's cool to hear about other peoples travels.

The trams sure are deadly! I didn't even ride one, believe it or not. We always walked lol.

Yup, I did go to the RLD on the last night of my stay with a coffeeshop employee I'd met the previous day! It was awesome, even in such a snowy day.
We went to a bar that was full of people smoking weed and drinking beer, it was half foreigners though.

The locals manage to ride their bikes on those icy roads, I have no idea how.
I remember stopping for a minute, staring at a man pulling a sled carrying his wife and daughter! haha

It's a really nice place, and I want to go back next year. Hopefully in the summer :D
You're welcome :D Thank you for taking the time to read this lol

I will post more stuff as I remember and I'll try to upload a couple videos later.
