Going indoor! What kind of lights do you use?

If you guys could post whatever lights you've had the best experience with I'd really appreciate it and if you used stuff to get more spectrums of light to the plant. I'm thinking about getting 1 and packing the plants together pretty tight like 16 under 1 light.

I've run CFLs, T5s and HIDs, both MH and HPS. The HIDs are so far the rockin'est. cn

So what lights are you using then? Lol that's so broad I have no idea what that stuff is. I searched HID lights on google and got car lights nd shit hah

Metal Halide and High Presure Sodium lamps are by far the best, next would be T5 HO then CFL's.
Grew with MH and HPS for yrs but now due to small confined space I use T5's with great success.

HID is the generic term for high-intensity discharge. MH and HPS are HIDs.
Specifically, i have a ballast for 600s. I run an Ushio HPS in flower and have the 600w Ushio MH "conversion" (runs in an HPS ballast) bulb for veg. cn

Hps for bloom, t5 ho for moms, cfl 's for clones and my little 1 week of veg.

i use some cfl and 4' T8 lighting for veg and 400hps for flowering.
