Going from veg room to flowering room?

So I just switched a couple plants from my veg room which I use CFL's, the temp is (at night) 68-70 and during day 75-77f. The RH or humidiity level in the veg room is 60-70%.

Now my flowering room is 600 watt HPS and has awesome air movement and circulation. The temp is about the same as veg room but the humidity level is 28-33%.

Now i've read that you want your flowering room as low as possible but my plants seem to be droopy looking and the leaves seem to be rough and looking kinda like the moisture is getting sucked out of them. Do I want to start the RH a little higher and gradualy go lower, I'm assuming this is what is causing it, that or the HPS light itself.

I've done research and seem to find nothing on the intial transfer into flowering stage.

I can add photos if needed.

Thanks for your time.

A few photos would be nice, how long has the plants been in flowering? days hours or ? I just started using a neutral soil. I finally got away from MG. Within 12-20 hrs of putting my plants into flowering it seems they drooped, 24-30 hours they started yellowing. My point is, if you are using a high quality soil it is probably nuetral like mine is. I fixed my issue by feeding them with blooming ferts with a high P number the day I put it in flowering, they stopped drooping and yellowing.
I wouldl ike to see some pics in order to tell if you are seeing the same thing.

Hi and thanks for your quick response. I am using a soiless mix so it is not soil. As well I am using a 2 part nutrient that I switched from the veg to the flowering one when I switched rooms. I water every 3 days and water until drainage. The 2 pics under the CFL is one about to go into veg, as you can see its lush and perky. The other 3 pics are under 600 watt HPS and as you see are droopy on the lower part of the plant especially, It's either from switch of lighting, going from 18hour to 12hour lighting, or what I think going from high humidity to low (under 30%) at most times.

I'm not into drowning my plants every 3 days. Your over watering, cannabis is a semi-arid plant. It prefers being on the dry side. Pick your pots up bro. When the pots light water it 1/2 gallon max. Some plants use more water than others, also a good indication of plant transpiration, the more transpiration the healthier the plant.

They are definately not being over watered, I'm not that new lol. Yes I pick up the pots and they are very light. Because of such dryness in the air and humidity being so low they dry up quicker. They are almost bone dry when i water, a 3 day water cycle is a great one.

Ah so maybe I have too much air flow which is drying up the leaves quicker than they can transpire...very interesting, I do have a ton of air movement, you may be very correct on this. I'll decrease some fan and their speeds.

Thanks Top. I'll keep you informed on how that turns out.

looks too hot in there, and not humid enough. bring humidity to 40-50%

these guys keep humidity up to 55% when flowering.

Honestly, they look pretty nice. They take up water very well so there healthy. Transpiration is controlled by the stomata closing and opening. I had a strain where the leaves would droop. She looked a little sad, but like your babies she was healthy green took water and transpirated it. Just might be the phenotype of that strain.
or- you veg with cfl. Now there under a HID. I could see that shocking the plant a little bit, not ust to that powerful light. But than you would think the leafs would fold up to reduce there surface area to the light.

I just got back in and bought a humidifier, going to raise the humidity level to 50-55%. I really think that's what causing this. But the light difference had me thinking the other day as well. All-in-all I have a couple more plants I'll be putting in there in a couple of days, and I'll give these ladies about a week to see what happens.

Thanks for all the input, much love.

Oh as for heat, the lights are in air-cooled melon heads. And the canopy temp only reaches about 77-78, don't believe it's the heat at all.

i think this sounds like a good idea. i would keep close watch on the rh and it should come up a little when you add more plants.

at around week 6 of flowering, get the humidity down and keep it down untill harvest.

How the fuck do you determine it's too hot and too low humidity from looking at a picture on the internet?

The plants look excellent.

becuase he said that his humidity is only at 30% during flower.

then he said it is not too hot.

so its humidity..becuase the plant does look great, he knows how to water and feed properly.

its called the elimation method

Exactly! I had 8 in there before with the RH around 45% and they did well. But having only 2 isn't enough and having gas heat is drying up my air. The last week I want to get my RH as low as possible (under 30%), helps with the resin glands and tightens the buds :)

I think having the humidity level between 40-60% near the start is a smart thing. To-be-honest there isn't enough info (from what I've tried to look up) about humidity levels in the start, all I see is people saying is low low low, low as possible for flowering, what I think they are meaning is when they are budding, not in the first 2 weeks of flowering.

Cheers again mates!
