Having light on will mean i have to have extraction on and ext. will run through my fail carbon filter and stink if the light are off they wont need extraction because they wont need co2 because they not growing

when you come back thet might be real droopy. i think their mouths in there leaves will keep releasing alot of moisture. im not totally sure of this, but i might be right.

Where I live the hydro goes off all the time and 2 months ago it was off for 3 days and in Jan 5 days, I have never had an issue, just don't water then to much they don't need it. If you water every 5 days than water 2 days before you leave when you get back they will be fine.

i understand where hes coming from. better safe then sorry type thing. something could happen with the lights being on and him not there.

If your going to tur. The lights off for 3 full days you might as well just throw them away when you alter the lights so dermadicly your baby's think there not going to get the pollen they want and will herie on you to try and reproduce them selfs I would bet that when you get back it will be a ball feast, and cause ur almost done with flowering the seeds wont develop all the way but just enough to get the snap crackling pop when you smoke it not that I would know any thing about that. I would really rethink turning thoughts likes off

to above poster.. Please don't give advice like that because you really don't know what will happen. Why would he "scrap" his whole grow that he has probably worked very hard on.. I know your getting conflicting stories but I hear ya on the safety issues and if you leave your lights off your plants will be fine. Good luck dude

Honestly, it doesn't take that much effort to automate a soil or hydro grow, at least in the short term at any rate. Obviously you're just paranoid now that they're big and full of bud. Suck it up! 3 days of darkness will stress the plants. Photosynthesis is a big deal, man. Robbing them of it is not a good thing.
