Out of 5 plants..all males I don't wanna buy seeds if I can get the ones I have to grow into smokeable females. I don't know what I'm doing lol but I'm so freakin sad. I have 4 seeds left 3 of them germinated. One popped out the ground after just 24 hours. My soil ph is 6.5 on the dot (brought home a digital pH tester from chem) I read females like more acidic soil and higher N so I've ditched the miracle grow sticks(although when pulling my other males I noticed the roots growing to/through them) and I'm using actual fox farm trio nutrients, my reptile room is 82 F 24/7 with a carbon filter and 75% humidity(really humid outside this week). 4 CFL lights 2 23w 2 40w...so how do I change my luck around? How can ii produce just 1 sexy lady?!

God doesnt hate you, you just got allot of males. pray for females and lay your hand on da plants. it worked for me, i tried helping a cat who wanted male plants os he could have the seeds but i had to chop before the plant ever open. had too mind you. by female seeds when you can. its the only way.

Feminized seeds cost more, but I've never wasted time growing out a useless male. Your environment appears to be in order, just bad luck.

Yeah just unlucky with the group of seeds you got. I had 9 fmles in a row... Just sprouted 3 seeds and im praying they r not male, but if you consider in .. Just how nature goes ill be lucky if any are girls.... But i feel your pain... Hurts putting in a month or so only for that time to be a waste but just dont give up, your luck has to change!!


Also if i were you.. Sprout in soil that has minimal nutes dont feed til like 3-5 node appears and start out small .( like teaspoon per gallon)

All Mj plants like acidic soil in general, but a seedling like a nice neautral ph and lite nutes to start out and get the roots going. After that and a Xplant into a bigger container you can start to add nutes lightly building up to a regular and then heavy feeding schedule if needed and desired. Just start them out in a nice light soil mix that drains well, and pray to whatever god you pray to for some females bro. Stay positive and just do what you can and karma will pay you back with some killer homegrown. Peace out, and I promise you God does not hate you bro, Unless you're some kind of baby raper or something, and then yes God probably hates you! Until you do something like that keep praying he/she's listening, just busy! Peace and Love all.

No I am no baby raper lol just a friendly neighborhood stoner...I must make a correction though 5 males and 1 hermie..seems to be a genetic hermie though its producing male balls and I see hairs growing out it pairs. I am super frustrated.

I've been there with bag seeds man. I finally gave up and started spending coin on seeds from a bank and have since been more than happy with results. I also turned into quite a seed hoarder over the years. I like the selection and being able to grow whatever i'm kind of in the mood for is nice. Before you drop the $ for store bought beans though get you clone game right and tight by playing with the bag seeds. No shame in growing what you got and we all start on the infamous bag seed. Keep it positive and you'll be rewarded by the laws of averages if anything. Unless you have a weird bag of seeds that's all males and hermies it will happen that you get a girl. Good luck. you are quite right I should work on this cloning situation. I think these last 4 I'm gonna work on getting to the hieght I'm looking for IE. Short and fat I do seem to be having an issue with all my plants stretching into my light bulbs

Hey dudes wuts up........I have no clue how true this is but........mon was told by another grower that if you pop 2 seeds in the same cup that it is more LIKELY one will be male and one will be female. Mon has just recently tried this and guess what? One was male and one was female, did mon just get lucky? probably!!!!

Is Mon a believer of ONE CUP & TWO SEEDS? no not yet, but thought i'd throw it out there!!!! Keep da pimp hand STRONG!!!!

Hey Mon, you think that might have something to do with the chances of getting a male and female out of two seeds would be 50/50?

I really don't understand how putting one seed next to another can in any way up your chance of a female. I don't think you understand the science of how a seed determines male or female, not that anyone does exactly, but that's not gonna help bro. Peace out.

You could use the "2 girls 1 cup" video, method! Showing this to 2 seeds will make both fail! Lol. No, this is not true my friend! :joint:

I might as well save up some money and get a good grow going I've picked some strains I wouldn't mind growing but only 2 that really fit what I'm trying to do. I hope someone round here can answer a few questions :P well more then a few.

Also I have to seriously disagree Mon..I had 2 seeds in the same pot and they both were males when they matured :P I thought it would effect the odds as well. I've read many "factors" that influence sex photoperiods, temp, pH levels, nutes but can't vouch for number of seeds per pots.

I don't really want seeds from this plant. Its growth was really nothing more then a test run with my set up to see if I could produce a viable female and smoke her. Also to practice cloning before I buy more high end cannabis seeds.

I'm not exactly sure what location you are in, but search your local craigslist for someone selling clones. They're usually about 10 bucks where I live. Grow that into a mother plant then you're in business. Of course there's always the chance that it isn't really from a female plant and in that case, yes, God does hate you.

Just went 0-3 in my first grow bid... This time I am doing one feminized Chrystal, one bought ak48 ( which were 2/3 of 1st batch) and one bag. It sucked having to pull all 3 of my plants so I figured I would gamble with 2 and go fem on the 3rd this time... Hopefully I balance the scales with o 3 ladies, but if not, at least it won't be another golden sombrero. :)
