Why are you assuming that matter was created? Why can't matter, or some form of matter/energy, have always​ existed? That argument makes the least amount of assumptions.

If we find evidence, actual evidence, that supports creation; we can talk.

Incessantly quoting biblical chapter and verse is not apologetics. Rather it is an admission that you have no actual, proveable evidence to support your beliefs. You simply have the faith of a child to believe fairy tales. How curious that some of the "red words" (according to three of the gospel writers) in the bible would say that you must be this ignorant to enter the kingdom of god. Paraphrase ("Trust in me blindly cause I'm giving you jack shit else to go on.")

Beliefs are dangerous things. They require absolute rigidity. People kill for them. Ideas can be swopped out for new or differet ones with zero cognitive dissonance. The last thing this world needs is more religious people slaying away in the name of their 'gods'. If i could i'd ban it.

Christianity falls flat in the face of reality.

A trillion universes, not just our one. And not just universes like ours but universes which express any possible value of physical constants that could exist. Life forms beyond imagine.

Wherever in these universes energy and matter mix, the potential for life arises, and from that life comes conciousness. Conciousness which is neither matter nor energy but something unto itself.

I would not be surprised if over many billion years some of these intelligences evolve beyond physical bodies and eventually even the universes in which they were created.

Despite the vast size of our universe, the parts which are actually conscious are quite rare. Life makes up only a tiny portion of the mass of the universe and as such is quite rare and precious. The understanding of the rarity of life and it's value is what should form the basis of our morality, not the ancient psychotic ramblings in some dusty book.

the real problem with religion is it's used as a tool for massacre, genocide and 'cleansing'...its not that christianity or islam or buddism or any of that necessarily 'falls on its face', its more a problem of humans using religion for evil deeds and as a means to an end. when people stop falsely translating ancient texts and scriptures and we the people (its common knowledge) know what it REALLY all says and REALLY all means, many might see religion in a different view, we shouldnt hate religion or christianity so much as we should HATE the people behind these religious forces pushing for terrible deeds to be done in their gods name. it should be backwards in this case, "hate the PLAYERS not the game"....good luck pushing through the matrix. youll need. it :peace:

Religion explains why we are here and morality is derived from that answer.

Christianity claims we are basically pets of a meddlesome god who hired some asshole to burn and poke us after we die. As a model for the universe I think it falls flat. Yes, people take advantage of the absolute lack of logic or reason in some religions and do bad things. Bad religions yeild bad actions. By their fruits you shall know them, or something like that.

Not counting scientology, there have been no large mainstream religions to arise since Mohammed 1400 something years ago. Since then our knowledge of the world has increased dramatically, and many religions have been strained by that. At some point very soon, following human nature, a new religion emerges. One with no supernatural explainations and events which violate physical laws. The one true religion which will be brought to us by Aliens. And that will be the end of religious conflict. The vast majority of the population will switch to the new religion immediately because they can see the beauty and truth. The rest will be killed as heretics.

Now that would be a damn good scifi movie!

I think if that were to happen, the fanatics of Earth's religions would claim the aliens are demons sent from Hell, I think they would garner enough support to be able to wage war, and although our new alien liberators came with good intentions, they would be met with hostility and it would ultimately lead to a confrontation. Eventually... obviously, the aliens would win and the new enlightenment would begin a few billion believers short.

Do you mind if I one day use this idea toward monetary gain? I will credit you with the idea, and if you give me your info and prove your identity I'll gladly share the earnings.

Thats what seems to happen. Some folks think they got it all figued out so they start threads or make "biblical drive bys" filled with scripture references thinking "well shit it works for me" thinking everyone else is gonna jump in line wth them suddenly. When they realize they cant answer reasonable logical questions like "how" or "why" they move on to try again in another thread somewhere.

Why do YOU think this informations isn't mainstream? I'll tell you, its money. They make too much money the way they treat these diseases! How much money do the hospitals make treating cancer? And how much money do they make trying to "find a cure for AIDS"? Its a big buisness and they want their money! How cheap would it be to use mari juana oil and hydrogen peroxide? It would be like FREE compared to what they do now to treat it. They dont care about people they care about the money!

They know, they know, they know but like I said, how much does food grade hydrogen peroxide cost? How much would it cost to grow like 4 pounds of weed needed to treat the cancer? People wouldnt even need the hospitals, they could just cure theirselves!
