I threw my bird in the oven at 7am and smoked a fatty...well it was the other way around actually,I had to wake-n-bake myself first of course...one of my favorite days of the year, too bad the Lions are playing...it should be a quiet day at Ford Field, although its these kinda games they end up winning...lol...I was at the Silverdome on Thanksgiving when we beat the Pats last time...many many moons ago...happy holidays......Peace

not a damn thing really.I guess some people gather around and say what there thankful for but I dont do none of that I just eat turkey.

It is supposed to be about giving thanks for what we have but, America is full of holidays that promote spending money to keep our consumer based economy afloat. Turkeys may be ugly but when cooked correctly it is the oppitomy of comfort food.

mostly tradition these days, but for the most part its a day that family gets together and feasts to the best of their abilities and celebrate being alive and having food.

and it aint just turkey.. its ham, collard greens, mac n cheese n all kinds of shit(chitlins n shit), of course cakes n pies
and i think it had to do with the pilgrims n indians.

true words. in true american spirit we gorge on turkey and other shit and chill with family and friends and watch football. one of our big holidays next to christmas. give thanks for what we have.
