Gnats. I think I found a way to be rid of them forever

Yo this theory isn't tested, but from everything I've read online Hydrogen Peroxide kills the eggs. I used them on my plants and I think it helped. I also read that putting a layer of sand ontop of your soil keeps the adults from laying eggs, and the eggs need moisture to survive. So let the soil dry out completely between waterings.

Let them dry out and then water with a dilluted Hydrogen peroxide and water mix, (it wont hurt your plants I tried) though you will hear some fizzing like when you pour it on a scratch. I think i used like 3 parts water one part 3 percent Hydrogen Peroxide. That should kill the eggs, and if you add layer of sand ontop of your soil the remaining adults shouldn't be able to lay more eggs in your soil.

What do you guys think? I would do more research before I follow through with this plan. I plan on doing it, just need to buy the sand.
