Glass jar broke, mixed with weed

I've been trying to think of a way to safely remove the weed (only small bits left, but a decent amount, at least a few bowls).

I don't think I can 'strain' the weed out because the shards of glass are just as tiny. I don't need to be somking glass, I could smoke cigarettes, or chew tobacco.. no thanks.

Does anybody have any ideas how to salvage this?bongsmilie

The best way I found so far was to put it on my ping pong table (or any large flat surface) and slowly blow the weed away from the heavier glass. Worked pretty well but it would take forever to do it over and over, take a lot of attention

Couldnt you just smoke it out of a bong? The glass particles would not be able to go through the water. But all your nice smoke would be able to!

sell it in the uk.... seems to be the cool thing to have glass in your weed.

but how about smoking though a bong? glass would stay in the water wouldnt it?

or maybe use a filter when making a joint. like a cig filter?

just a couple thoughts....

You don't want to breathe in glass, small particles can tear the soft vulnerable tissue of your lungs. I say count your losses and move on.
Oh wait, yeah, a bong would work fine.

It sounds like your on the right track. Get a BIG flat area and try a hair dryer on lowest speed and heat setting and blow it from one side of the table to the other. Remove any glass and repeat. Tumble your stuff and repeat over and over until you can't find any remaining glass. Then do it 5-10 more times.

Or put it in a jar of water, shake like hell and let sit for a few min. Any glass should sink and your bud float. Skim the bud off and re-dry.

If you get ANY glass in you at all you will be funked realy funked. Get rid of it its just not worth it.

Lol yeah... but glass is the best when not broken. I didn't break this, my bro did actually.

I'm thinking I'll try the water methods suggested. If it works great! If not, oh well

If you dont have a Bong why not try a GRAVITY bong?


The smoke would be making contact with water on the bottom and a gravity bong is SUPER easy to make and can be tossed easy


Way I think it would work: The weed burns and is pulled down to the chaimber, along with the glass, the glass continutes to fall because of gravity, it then falls to the bottom of the jug/bucket/whatever you are using. Then all you have is smoke with glass on the bottom safely away from your lungs


i would probably do that with the "cleaned" weed anyway, because shit you never know if there are still tiny tiny pieces of glass lodged in there

yeah man I hear that with the tiny glass pieces... I'll be smokin it in a bubbler when I smoke it ha. And yeah grav bongs are always fun, I did a shitload of them the past 2 semesters

If that where truw, do you think that glass bowls would be very popular? If I got molten glass in mouth every time I smoked outta one I would stop, lol. Lighters burn at 1977°C and glass doesn't melt until 2300°C
