the screen I used was just small holed screen from lowes. I think it’s just poly material but make sure it’s small holed or some pest will through it and all flying pest seem to love the warmth in there.

I checked and found 80% lowest and regular sold was 90% lol but I believe I will find the 40%
how do you attach it to the top of your greenhouse? from inside hooking it up ?
Light dep is really nice way to have multiple harvest per year with a good indoor start perhaps.
Did you purchased a tent with it or retrofitted or diy? I read somewhere that air exchange is important with light dep, and Im not sure how is it accomplished? maybe those big vent fans that are shaded / used for mushroom commercial cultivation ?

btw the screen from lowes, I know Im dumb but can you maybe show me what do you mean also I would love to see how you had it setup with the screens and shading fabric. I know I sound retarded but for some people its harder to imagine

I just drape it over the top of the hoop house and attach it to the wooden bottom rails I have on the hoop house with wax string so I can remove it easily. With the light dep I’m going to install one of the louvre kits with the exhaust fan that they make for buildings or greenhouses that can be either left on or it can be setup to come on when temp or humidity get too high. I work in an industry that uses them in small buildings for housing radio equipment so I have access to some older units. I will take some pics when I get it all setup again for the season. We haven’t had nice enough weather to get it setup yet. We got snow again lastnight so it’s still too cold out for the garden. I didn’t even think of the light that the vent will allow in when doing light dep. so thanks for bringing that up I will have to think of what I can do to prevent it.

Wind heavy rain and even possibilities of snow. Cheap carports and structures like that are disposable here A buddy of mine owns an rv park and on weekends people go home and if it rains good even in summer they're flat when they get back on fridays.

I’ve had good luck with my hoop house it has held up during heavy snow fall and high winds but I used 2x6 wood around the bottom frame and also used rebar drove into the ground and that’s what my pvc sits down onto to hold them in place then I used conduit straps to attach the pvc to the 2x6’s so they can’t come off the rebar and so far it’s worked well
