is there any scientific evidence to suggest that growing plants organically will make them superior in the ways claimed by organic growers ?

many of these organic growers insist that chemical grown weed both soil and hydro is vastly inferior to their organics

Let me throw out some bait:

- I'm not against transgenesis. As a matter of fact, if I had the resources...

- Monsanto is going to create awesome cannabis hybrids and people will say they are heavily genetically engineered while in reality it will be largely a result of applying actually modern breeding methods.

My fav thing to "ask" em about are vitamins :bigjoint: which are actually "chem" nutes for humans and found in every health food/organic store there is LOL Pretty much all extracted the same way as Plant chem nutes and yeppers some are even extracted using radiation. Yet the organic folks will not only use em but defend em as well LOL

How do these organic folk become so closed minded to scientific facts, i guess UB was right, its like a religion
 
many LED growers are similar, many of them will claim that HID weed is vastly inferior
what i find amusing is many of them would of been smoking HID weed for most of their smoking careers, now suddenly its worthless to them

Usually, when someone comes by and they have some crap weed, they can't stop saying, "it's organic" again, I commence with the laughing under my breath.

I'm pretty sure it's P just because the lower leaves are green and it's only happening at the very top. Could be a combo of things though, there is also some crispyness here and there. My NPK is 8-5-13 i believe, I've got the PPM really low right now though, also I add low amounts of cal and mag and low amounts of sulfur. Everything was good until I dropped the nutes ppm below 700 for my "flush" lol, the plants still wanted more food I'm assuming

It's such a weird leaf, there were a few of them next to the leaves with the buds growing out of them, maybe it was the monstanto mega salt nutrients I was using ;) lol just kidding

Seems often the Appeal to Nature fallacy plays a large role.

General form of this type of argument:
N is natural.
Therefore, N is good or right.
U is unnatural.
Therefore, U is bad or wrong.

Though, some of the organic growers here are better capable dealing with scientific facts than many of the growers in the hydro forums. @stowandgrow is a good example.

Yeh some of them are quite polite too, but its rare, most of them call me hurtful names, not long ago one of the said that i "reek of chem" LOL

It'd be the same as me telling all the horizontal growers to go vert. Or all the DWC boys that they'd be better off in hempy.

Just poor form, we all grow the way we do for some reason or another...

please cite where i have suggested organic growers should grow hydroponically
 
i asked hyroot why his plants often have little white spots on the leaves and why they are burnt around the edges
he was unable to answer without insults
