today i went to the nearest hydro store to me and was thinking about getting me a ballast and mayb a hydro system, after deciding which ballast i wanted i let the guy at the counter know and he told me wen i get a light i get $50 off of a hydro system so i went and got the one i was thinking on getting and brought it to the counter. i started to hand him the money wen he said "now i will b needing your address and phone number", i was like wat! "ur address we cant sell neone lights nemore without their address". lol ur pulling my leg right???? "no sir", "this is fucking bull" and i walked out. :evil:
has neone else heard of this???:confused:

This is news to me. You did the right thing. +rep for you.

If it's in their power, they will be changing that policy in no time. You should find out why they did it for your own enlightenment. If your local government is pressuring hydro-shops to start keeping lists, it is time to act.

ya this is crazy, im thinking about just making my own hydro system and buying a ballast on ebay now. this pisses me off, th gov. needs to fuck off!!! well idk who decided to start taking addresses but ur right it will change soon cuz they wont b getting hardly nemore business. i wouldnt b surprised if the the local police decided to do it cuz about 10 min away from my house there was a big bust last week and another bust the week b4 that.

That's some bullshit! My hydro store is fine, that's the only way I buy supplies, in cash and in person. That store is going to go out of business real fast!

ya, ive always used cash, even if its for nutes and stuff, cuz i dont want them have ne of my info but i might have to start buying online or drive an hour away to the next closest hydro store
