Self explanatory title;

What ppm and pH meters are ya'll using / which ones do you guys recommend?

So many options out there ranging form $10 to to hundreds, hard to make a decision.

Thanks!
MY opinion is to throw them in the trash and forget about it. Get you some good soil and throw some extra lime in their. Start at quarter strength feed when ready and judge where to go from there by looking at plant. Don’t complicate things. No need to get all fancy and start turning this thing Into a science project because that’s how a lot of new growers fail. I don’t ph anything and haven’t had an unhealthy plant in many years. It’s really simple.

Your choice should depend on the type of garden you have.
I really like Blue Labs
I have this for soil phScreenshot_20201222-163740_Amazon Shopping.jpg

For my hydroponic reservoir I use this continuous read ph/ec meterScreenshot_20201222-163030_Amazon Shopping.jpg

I'd like to hear the opinion of somebody who has owned both a Hanna and a Blue Lab.
Hanna worked for me.

I've owned both. Granted my BlueLab was just a PH pen so im not really making a fair comparison. Right now im using a Hanna HI9814 combo meter. If the probe last around a year or longer, I will be sticking with it just because it seems super durable and the ease of use is insane with the quick-cal solution. I've only had it for a couple of months so time will tell but so far im loving it.

I'm a believer. I am curious to know what the pH of your water is.
For reference, I ran same cultivar (as I ran indoor) outdoor in soil; plant looked way happier. Tho, I tweaked pH of incoming water.

When I used to ph my tap water it at current house it was usually just under 7. At old house it was around 6. Made no difference.. use good soil with ph buffers like dolomite lime and that water going in isn’t going to change the ph for a long time. It’ll adjust to the soils ph.
