My uncle was a hippy and my father was a smoker, but not a hippy. When I was very young my father had property in a very rural area. He and my uncle grew there most of my childhood.
When I was older and started smoking it fit like a glove to my personality. Absolutely loved it. After many years of smoking, I kept seeing and hearing about the new strains like White Widow, Northern Lights, etc. It kind of aggravated me that as long as I have been smoking I didn't have access to those types of strains. As soon as I started looking around for seeds, my mind was made up. From there it went straight to building a box and been growing ever since.

... and the reason I gave the uncle/father backstory is simply to point out the legality and risk may have been lessened in my mind considering I had grown up around grows.

i started smoking at 14, i was diagnosed with ADHD just as indicaangel stated. however im not so sure about the accuracy of my diagnosis as it was the hip new thing for doctors to diagnose and treat at the time, just as Bi Polar is these days. i think it was more just boredom in school more than anything. i went to public schools that never really challenged us intellectually so i turned to MJ to make my brain happy :weed:i hated the medication they had me on and MJ sure helped balance me out with the heavy narcotics i was on! soon after i began buying extra pot and selling it to my friends as a way to smoke for free and make a little extra money doing it. i began playing around with growing at 15-16 with my brother (who is quite a bit older). looking back i think he didnt like having to buy weed from his little brother lol. our first grows were pretty bad! we didnt have our first real good plant for about a year. we also kept playing with different methods like Aeroponics hydro all that good stuff. we never had very much at a time but it was pretty good. as i turned 17-18 i got waaay heavier into selling weed. by 19 that was my chosen career path in my mind lol! i dropped out of high school in my senior year (stupid) all because i had lost my astrophysics scholarship to go to college, that is after i had already spent my entire summer, before senior year, living at the college i was about to attend getting to participate in radio astronomy research. Mazars and Lazars (Lazars were actually first discovered a couple years before this by my professor at the university i was at) needless to say losing my dream radio astronomy gig really pissed me off and it was downhill from there. i got in with a group of people that had "the mexican connection" ($1000 per pound weed at the time) so to speak and began flipping elbows locally to my friends, mostly others doing what i had done up till now. wasnt long before my partner and i were buying truck loads at a time :? stupid. it was such a rush though i couldnt stop. i sold the mexan shit for a few years as we continued to grow our own personal. then two of my good friends i worked with got murdered in their car all over a pound of dirt weed as well as my best friend dying in a car wreck about the same time. i took that as a sign to stop doing what i was doing so i did. i went to college (while battling opiate addiction) studied chemistry. it didnt take but a couple years before my bro and i have our first decent set up, 6 1000W HPS 4 600 Watt MH. it worked out perfect for a long time we grow at my bros place and i would get rid of anything we grew. people wanted more than we could grow so we began construction on a warehouse where we eventually had 12 1000 HPS 6 1000W MH and 20 T5 banks for all of our mothers. but it still wasnt enough so we made the big mistake of supplementing our own stock with outdoor medical out of california, our fatal flaw. we were able to get away with all this for about 3 years then we lost our first load of 300 lbs in Nevada it hurt, it hurt a lot lol. after that, shit went downhill quick, within a year we were being investigated by more than one agency.... they finally pinched me and my partner while i was taking a case full of money to him to grab another load. the FBI boxed me in on the road along with local PD and swarmed my car and proceeded to serve a warrant at my house. i actually still suffer from chronic (no pun intended) clinical PTSD from that very day! needless to say if your at the point where the FBI has authorized wire taps and pull bank and business records, your already WAY FUCKED! so after tens of thousands of dollars spend on really good lawyers i decided to get back to my roots. just growing plants for the pure and simple sake of wanting to have my own good herb with no intention of selling. just keeping it small keeping it green and having fun these days. but yeah thats a little bit of my story in a nutshell, without writing an entire book.

woke up and took a couple pics of animal cookies, her leaves are changing colors. I hadn't expected that.
But it's kinda cool. So far the bud is forming nicely still, just going to post a tiny pic so you can see. This color
shift just started over the last couple days.
Not even sure what color it IS, very dark almost blue black. No filter or anything as usual, this is just a pic
from my tent with the lights off and plain flash. right after the timer chimed and the LED's went off.
Same time I take all my pics. so nothing is diff except the plant. what do ya think? pretty or weird.. or pretty weird?

Your girls are looking great MD and IA. Thanks for sharing with us. I went and visited my girls (at 106 days) and they look and smell tasty. My outdoor plants are holding at 12', but the cola's are getting fatter every day. Last years breeding has treated me well! Peace
