Girlfriend

So, my girl has been growing and she’s about two months in. She’s going through some home situations, so I wet trimmed for her but the yield was trash (obviously). Either way she wanted to try it. I told her she can dip into but it’s a waste and it’ll taste garbage as shit. Any way to speed up the drying process without loss of potency?

Rushing it will guarantee trash.

Smaller nugs will naturally dry faster, but as previously said rushing it will for sure have a worse effect as opposed to trying to keep it drying slow.
Also, congrats to you and you're girlfriend, she took dive n grew something. I'd say regardless of quality or quantity, you know she can get to harvest. And that's something y'all should be proud of. Lock it in n do better next time. Gotta start somewhere, think of all the people who just give up, you're already winning. It's truly a great feeling growing a nice crop and getting to try it out after all the work is done. Have a good one

Please don't rush dry it.
Drying and curing are the most important part. Patience will pay off!

Take a nice size nug, and leave it on the dresser for a few days.. up to 4-5 days. Quickest I was able to test out a nug. It’s way better to wait tho.

This may sound counter intuitive, but consider growing "low yield" strains or phenos, as smaller buds dry faster. If you've ever heard of "OGKB phenos" that's a good place to start; they have cabbagy looking leaves that often tightly overlapping fingers. Shit yielders but often AMAZING smoke, lots of if not maybe all of ThugPug strains, almost anything with Dosidos as an immediate parent, umm a ton of GSC crosses as it's basically a GSC pheno itself.

Don't "speed up" the drying process on purpose otherwise, it'll reduce EVERYTHING; flavor, aroma, likely potency, looks etc etc. Take your time
