Up here in the Florida panhandle we have do winters, but I did winter/spring crops in both 16/17 and 17/18. Some years the first killing frost isn't until December or later, but of course the two years I grew in winter, we had hard freezes.
The last two years have been crazy wet in the summer and this past year, well into fall. I had rot issues with every strain I ran, but the tall lanky ones did do best. If this weather becomes my climate, I will have to do photos in the spring, run some autos in the summertime, then do some real late season photos in the fall.
