GHS The Church - germination problems?

Got an arder from Attitude this week. I bought a 5 pack of Church and a few singles from DNA Genetics (Skunk #1 & Hash Plant).

Both singles germinated quickly and are now in soil as is 1 Church. 1 of the remaining 4 Church has split and looks a taproot will be coming along soon. I never have germination problems and read on another forum of some people having low germination rates w/ The Church.
Anyone here have the same experience?

i got 11 churches.. 1 did not pop.. the other 10 r growing jus fine... they were all ready for soil 2 days after i soaked them in water

I guess you got lucky or I didnt. But I do know Im not alone, this has been a problem in the past. GHS actually adressed it here http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=91752
I gotta think that I probably got some older seeds that may have been part of that batch. I only got 1 of the 5 to germinate.

All the other seeds that I got germinated. I even germed a few bagseed just to have something to compare with. I germed 5 and they all popped. The only seeds out of the 5 strains i germinated yhat didnt pop were The Church. I guess I'll contact Attitude and see if they can offer any help, I doubt they will but it's worth a try. I dont have alot of $ to spend on seeds and to me 1/5 germination rate isnt acceptable.

GHS will replace seeds that didn't germ. Jus gotta send them proof of purchase(packaging) and pics or explination of germination process. Chek there site. www.greenhouseseeds.nl

GHS will not ship to USA, trust me i tried.

The Church seems to have been plagued by problems since it's release. This is a very common scenario from what I have read. Why do so many people pick this strain anyway??

LOL man, i wish I had a better answer than I read a few grow reports and need something thats mold resistant to grow outdoors.

If I had spent 10 more minutes of research and found that info i eventually did, i never would have ordered the strain.

I had to update. I contacted Attitude and after some email exchanges w/ Rachel they replaced the 5 pack w/ another w/ my order.
So i germinated a 5 pack of The Church and a 5 pack of Barneys Farm Violator Kush.

All 5 BF VK germinated and went into soil. All 5 have popped soil and are now growing.
1/5 of The Church germinated and went into soil. Another started to break out of the shell but couldnt and rotted in the shell. The other 3 didnt do anything at all.
Also the seeds in my Church 5 pack looked like ass, 3 were so small I knew they would be junk as soon as I looked at them. If they were bagseed, because of how puny they were I wouldn't have even bothered to germinate them. I just have to hope my 1 seedling does well enough to become a Mother plant and provide me w/ cuttings down the road.

I know for a fact this isnt a germination problem on my end, I have gone 100% germ. rates w/ seeds from Barneys Farm, DNA Genetics, Reserva Privada and G-13 Labs. All germinated at the same time, on the same plates and in the same environment. My total germination rate w/ The Church is 2/10, a rate of 20% isnt acceptable to me.

This is a problem w/ The Church that seems to be back again. Until GHSC gets this straightened out, I would avoid The Church.
