Ghetto Fabulous CFL DIY

I made a small grow cabinet from an old VHS case. It measures 2ft x1ft and is just under 3 feet tall. I made i with relatively no money at all. I lined the inside with mylar reflective bubble wrap that was left over from another grow. I put an intake fan in the bottom left-hand corner and covered it with a light trap i made from cardboard. I made a Ghetto Fabulous light from a small box, more mylar bubble wrap, and two lamp kits i got at the store. I have 5 lights in all, all 42watt(150watt eq), was running all 6500k spectrum durring veg. and as I added lights and switched to flower I slowly changed to 2700k.

I started with 3 seeds, Trainwreck, Blackberry Kush, and Urban Poison. After a little while I began to realize I was going to have an issue with space so I donated the trainwreck to a friend who was doing a PC grow and I'm happy to say she is doing great! After about to 5 weeks of vegging, I set them into flower on December 17th. About 2 weeks into flower the Blackberry turned out all hermied with balls and pistils. So I just chopped him/her down. So the Urban Poison has become my beautiful baby girl, she's been gettin all my plant love and hasn't given me a single problem!

So here we are now, about 7 weeks into flower and she's doing great! I recently trimmed off all the large fan leaves and started giving her Bloombastic and Soon will be giving her Overdrive! I've been using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro and their whole line, plus their supplement line and I've been fairly pleased by the results so far. I slowly worked up from about quarter strength flower nutes and foliar fed up until about 3 weeks into flower, then started full strength nutes. Along with adding a Tablespoon of ash once a week to my soil(a mix of about 2 parts Ocean Forest, one part Perlite, and one part Just Right Mix)

I think something like 13500 lumens

Here's a couple pictures from today. Sorry I have a poopy camera on my phone, should be getting a new one here soon. So hopefully I'll have some good pics of her just before harvest and with the finished product! She's lookin great and starting to frost up, shes starting 8/16 after this weekend and I've been keeping the box around 77 degrees with lights on and around 66 with lights off and a nice soft lavender-ish purple is starting to show up on the calyxes! (of which i will try and photograph when i get the new phone cuz otherwise it'd be all blurry like the nug pic from the top)

Just throwin this out there to see what peeps got to say, but next grow I was planning on doing Pot of Gold(love this shit eph all the haters) Bubba Kush, Super Silver Haze, and a strain a buddy and I have been workin on called The Way of the Gun (a local strain, Path, crossed with AK) Let me know what you all think!

Since it's late in flower there hasn't been to much visible change pared with my ultra crappy cellphone camera I only took this one picture. Wish i had a better camera so you can see the frostiness of the buds and the purples and pings that are starting to show in the Calyxes! She's so beautiful and smells just as good as she looks! Tomorrow is her first water with Clearex then it's clean water till she's done!
