GHE AeroFarm or AquaFarm?

Hi I would like to start playing with hydroponic cultivation, I have already pre-selected the equipment, but I do not know which one to choose. Only GHE AquaFarm or AeroFarrm fit into my small cabinet. Which of these sets will be more suitable for growing
several plants in a small space?

If you can't post a pic, you can post a link.. Why make members research the info to answer your question..

I have two more important questions for me.

1. Will growing in AeroFarm 45L increase the moisture in the small growbox compared to the same crop in the soil? (also 45l of soil)

2. If I give 25 days of vegetation for four plants growing in the soil, let's say that the whole crop will end in 90 days (more or less). How many days will the same crop be using AeroFarm?
Hydroponics interests me only because of faster cultivation and I would like to know what exactly the difference between hydro and soil looks like.

As mentioned above you can DIY the water farm

as mentioned above you can DIY those systems for about 20-30 bucks and it will perform the same. The only part that will take less time is veg phase as bloom takes same amount of time no matter the method but the plants will grow faster is hydro during veg so that is how you cut down cultivation time. You will need more tools for hydro then soil but I find hydro to be more hands on growing and soil can be boring. That’s my take on it and everyone will have their own opinions. So it boils down to what your looking for out of your grow do you want very easy then go soil if you want to play with it more and spend more time messing with things then go hydro both will provide excellent flowers if you have your environment dialed in and use your space wisely

probably no.

the number of leaves will influence humidity. less leaves, less humidity.

and like treesome said, you're veg time in hydro "should" be less than soil

Ok. I understand what's going on. But I still don't have an answer, how long do you think the same crop will last (soil 90 days with veg 25 days) in hydro? I like to deal with plants, but in this case I only mean the speed of growth and the size of the harvest. I have a well-developed method of organic cultivation in the soil and I am satisfied with it. Will mineral fertilizers in hydro speed up the process a little compared to organic ones in soil?
Maybe it's a bit strange but I care about the exact calculation of the time I save. If there is not much of it, I am unlikely to decide to change the method of cultivation.

impossible to say. depends on way too many variables to predict that.

i'll take a guess: 5 days less in hydro

Not worth the time savings if you already have a system in place and it works since you would waste more time dialing in a new hydro system then just staying the coarse your on with the soil

That doesn't sound encouraging. I thought that changing from soil to hydro and changing organics to mineral would save a little more time. 10 days less would be fine.

i'd guess 25 days veg would save 5. 45 days of veg would save 10. something like that. hydro is much faster than soil for sure but your veg time is too short to show that.

you also have to realize that you are in a small area. i've got 8 foot ceilings and plenty of light so i flip to 12/12 depending on how tall the plants are, not how old they are.

Yes I know, I always wait with the change of light until the plants overgrow almost the entire plane of the box.
I do not use long weg because I always have more smaller plants. However, I think I will take care of what I have, not enough benefits from hydro.

Maybe with your space limits you could pull off a small sea of green with a flood table or even a bunch of small hempies or even some small pots with coco. If you provide some dimensions of your cabinet the folks with experience with that type of grow may be able to explain how to maximize your yields in a shorter time frame

Growing area:
55 x 47 cm (0.26 m2)
60cm height for the plant

In the upper right corner of the page you can change the language to English.

I will already make a lot of crops in this cabinet in most very successful. If I find a moment of time, I'll throw some photos. Usually these were 3 or 4 plants AF or photo. A successful one cycle is 100-120g, maybe with super genes and a good farmer it would be possible to make 140g. What does "flood table" mean? I'm happy with the crop, it's more about time. Any day I start SoG with Jack Herer, 6 plants with a short veg of 10-14 days. Only I have a problem with the choice of pots, but in this matter I will assume a separate topic.
