GH nutrients

Need feedback on PPM. GH recomends all 3 parts (in different quantities) for veg and bloom. Has anyone tried what see more buds says and completely leave out the green part when in bloom?

2nd. My PPM of tap is over 300, without 0 water should i keep the ppm at highest 1600 or can i go higher? (I have gone well over 2000 and never had any problems) but would i yeild more another way??

I don't know these answers, but I'll give this thread a bump because I'm interested in hearing others opinions on using only the FloraMicro and the Florabloom, and leaving out floragro.

useing just micro and bloom GH with no grow (green) that is called the lucas formula, and imo it is way beter than the 3 part formula

i have never used all 3 parts but my sister does and my plants are always beter, i spend more time tweaking my stuff then her too though.

also my tap water is almost 300 out of the tap i use the lucas forumla as follows

for 2 weeks 1tsp bloom and 0.5 tsp micro

for last 2 weeks of veg and first 2 weeks of flower 2 tsp bloom and 1 tsp micro

for the rest of flower 3 tsp bloom and 1.5 tsp micro


u can adjust as u need but always use 2xboom to 1xmicro

an always add the micro 1st then mix b4 u add the bloom, and rince the spoon or use diff spoon for each, i cant let micro and blom touch each other in pure form or thay react and get un useable

Do you ppm test too. I have started but my normal formula always goes over 2000 and the tester says od. Then I tried to make the ppm 1600 max in bloom and it did not smell as much. My tap is also 320-340.
