Where do you see info on it being banned in Canada? I am currently in Canada and just checked, it is in stock in my local hydro store in 500 ml, 1L, 4L, 10L and 23L.
I'm in Ontario, Toronto area. Where abouts are you? And yeah apparently an ingredient in it has been banned by Canadian customs so every hydro store I call says they're sold out (even though some of them say In Stock on their website), and a number of them are discontinuing carrying GH because of this.
You can get a 1 Quart bottle on Amazon for $40 CAD + $30 shipping... when it should be $20. People are capitalizing on the shortage, bastards!

That is odd. I purchased some to pickup at the Mississauga location yesterday after you said it was banned. They emailed me today saying it was being sent from Toronto store and would be ready for pickup Saturday. Not sure why the guy laughed at you, they do have it in stock. They sent me this today for the order I placed yesterday. I will update you once it is in hand.

Nice, thanks for the updated info bud. Nice to know they are working it out. I know the place I suggested above should still have it and it is available to order online through their link. I grabbed a 4 litre bottle when OP originally posted just to be on the safe side. Just checked their site and it is still there in multiple sizes if anyone needs it. With a 4 plant limit that 4 litre bottle will last me for a long time.I emailed GH and they responded this:
“Armor Si is going through the registration process in Canada as we speak, but unfortunately do not have a timeframe for it to return to shelves. Until Health Canada approves our registration, it will continue to be unavailable as a result. Once the product is available again, it will be at retail dealer sites across the country.”
all remaining stock in Canada will remain on shelves until sold. Like others have said it is available on Amazon.ca for about $50 shipped. Some have had success getting it in the country thru Amazon.com but it’s hit or miss.
As for a 1:1 replacement the closest I’ve found is Optimum Hydroponix Silicate. It’s a Canadian brand at $10/L it’s 0-0-3 it has (3% K2O) soluble potash derived from potassium silicate and (8% SiO2) silicone dioxide derived from potassium silicate
GH Armor Si is 0-0-4 (4%K2O)
and (10% SiO2) both derived from potassium silicate.

Optimum Hydroponix® Silicate is an easy to use liquid formulation of potassium silicate (K2Si) to provide supplemental silicon and potassium.
I’m sure at 1-1.5ml per gal it would be fine. From my understanding Silica is one of the rare supplements that cannabis will not get toxicity from.
