Sorry for the delay in posting this, so not quite a full journal. If you had read my thread asking for lighting advice, I had originally planned to do some pheno hunting and a fair bit of training and was going to wait until after taking clones to start the journal. However, this is my first indoor grow in 15+ years and I remembered 2 important things. First, it's legal here now and I have easy access to a wide variety of genetics. Second, this is just for my wife and I and having even a small harvest every 2-3 months will be plenty for us. With all of that in mind, here's where we're at right now...

Veg Tent: 1x 4'-4 bulb Sun System Sun Blaze T5 HO 6500k, Gorilla Grow 2x4 Shorty
Flower Tent: 1x Green Sunshine Co Electric Sky 300, Gorilla Grow 2x4 Shorty w/ 1' Extension
4" Gale Force Inline Fan w/ Covert Carbon Filter
3-Gallon Smart Pots
Fox Farms Ocean Forest (unmixed, straight from the bag)
Fox Farm Trio using their measurements, but alternating feed one day, water only the next
2x Ethos Grandpa's Stash
2x Ethos Lemon OG Haze R2 BX2
Seeds were germinated using the usual plate method with distilled water. All 4 seeds had 1/4" taproots within 48hours. Humidity in the tent has been a fairly consistent 45%. The only issue so far has been the temps. As a huge reprogramming from my old days of HPS growing, the issue been not being warm enough! The tent is in a closed off room which gets a lot of sun, so ambient temps in the room can range from mid-60s to mid-70s. I've been averaging about 79-80 degrees in the tent. However, on the sunny days when the tent hits 85-86 you can see a definite difference. The plants LOVE it with this light in the mid-80s.
Two plants of each strain doesn't make for much of a sample study to illustrate phenos, but here are my observations so far... The overall plant structure for both GSs is virtually the same. GS#2 has an airier bud structure than GS#1 and is the frostiest of the 4. GS#1 odor is full on skunk. GS#2 smells just like blueberries, think blueberry Eggo in the toaster. The 2 LOGHs couldn't be more different. LOGH#1 had VERY little stretch. While the other 3 plants are on the floor of the tent, LOGH#1 is raised up 5" and is still the shortest in the tent. It also has the least resin development. LOGH#2 stretched like crazy and had to be tied back to try and control height. LOGH#1 has an acrid gas/chemical smell, while LOGH#2 is full on lemon drop candy smelling.
