Looking good Ayr0n, sounds like you're expanding fast and glad to hear your partner's on board with the expansion plans :p

These things can take a beating, as you get more comfortable with the photos and do more training you'll notice they love being poked and prodded, I find once I start training is when they really take off.

Yeah it's nice to know even if you do stunt them a bit you can veg as long as you want. On the autos I kept picturing like little thumb sized buds being the result if I fucked up lol.

Nice training there Ayr0n, looks like you've been doing this for a while, bend those beatches! Keep some interval pics for the next couple of weeks, it's cool to see them develop and there's a stage at which they just explode.

Haha yeah I tied that bitch down and she loved it (watch it be a male lmao). On the autos I was actually tying the rope/string to the plant and then tying the other end to the wood stakes, but it was a bitch to get off the plant and just unconventional - this time I just tied the string to 2 stakes and pulled it tight over the top of the plant so it'll be a lot easier to adjust and remove later on ;) Got the idea from looking at pictures of scrogs lol...

I'll try to keep on top of the images and do some of those progression images like in the Berry Ryder thread. These ladies (hopefully ladies) would probably be a lot larger right now If I quit fucking w/ them (Topping / lst) but I'm not in a rush. It's interesting to see how they respond to the training and not only overcome it but adapt and come back even better than before.




The Critical Sensi Star stuck it's head up out of the dirt this morning. Probably no room for anymore so I'll stop germ'ing beans and focus on keeping these gals healthy and getting the other tent situated for clones in the next month or so...

Hey I need your guys' feedback if you've got a minute - I threw this track together last weekend n made the beat, wrote the lyrics and then recorded myself on it... I've taken a long break from making music but was feeling inspired that day so this was the result...The mix isn't finished (waiting for someone else to put down a verse) so it's still a little rough - but I need an honest opinion: Is this terrible or somewhat decent lol?

Looks like there's quite a few gems hidden in these packs. This guy ran the Afghani series, where the ones I've got n this thread are the Colombian gold series - After reading his thread I looked into some other GG grow journals and it looked like everything they have is quality so I figured I'd use their genetics for my first photo grow.

I appreciate you taking the time to listen bro - I definitely agree w/ you on the flow there. 'the whole system' part has an odd pause before it that makes it sound off beat. The ending is just temporary until I get around to finishing the song w/ more verses, etc. Thanks again - nice to get some constructive criticism

Thanks man - hopefully I can keep them that way lol. It wasn't too bad keepin' the autos healthy for 2-2.5 months but these gals gotta stay healthy a lot longer -.- Already had a little burn on one of the GG's fans. I think this soil is slightly hot for sensitive strains.

Going to hold off on pictures for a few days - the new tops are starting to come in on all 4 of the established plants (pinched tops off on all of them at the same time a couple days ago) and the critical sensi star is starting to form it's 1st set of real leaves. Won't be much change to see until those new tops fill in a bit

I don't know much about the different types of cannabis plants but there's a pretty distinct similarity between the Sweet Black Angel and GG 1, and also between GG 2 and GG 3 - at least structurally.

GG 1 and the SBA both seem more sparse in foliage and a little more stretched out / wider spacing between nodes, where GG 2 and 3 are very compact with thick foliage and tight internodes. I can't tell if this is from genetics or because of when they got transplanted. The 2 bigger ones (GG2 and 3) had several nodes to start with when they got transplanted, and the other 2 were still pretty much seedlings. I'm sure a big factor is genetics but I have a feeling that getting the younger 2 in larger pots earlier might have affected the way they grew.

Looking fantastic Ayr0n, you're seeing genetics, pheno and training influences in those differences. GG2/3 are looking like winners and spreading out significantly more/faster, the answer to that is already in your post, you've done more training to them and you're seeing the results of that. GG1 also looks like one of those tall/lanky phenos, if I were looking to take clones from the GG's, I'd be favouring GG2/GG3 and keeping a close eye on GG1's sex once they start to show if they're regs. If they're all regs I'd take a couple from each, mark/tag them so you know exactly which one is which, then once they show sex keep the best clones from GG2/GG3, that plant structure will produce more than the GG1 structure. Some LST and that SBA could spread out a bit and bush up like GG2/3. All looking nice and healthy, nice job on them, keep on doing what you're doing!

Yeah I'm really liking GG3 so far - the only thing I'm a little concerned about is if it's going to be producing a lot of sugar leaves too - might make trimming a PITA

Haven't gotten a chance to hook up the LED since the last grow - it appeared to really fatten up the lower bud sites on the autos when I was using it for side lighting. The couple that got harvested before the LED was hooked up had a lot more popcorn / trim quality shit down low, but the ones that had the LED side lighting for the 2nd half of flowering appeared to be pretty uniform from top to bottom. Planning on using the LED in the other tent for vegging eventually and swapping out the MH bulb on the 600w apollo ballast for the HPS bulb for a flowering area. Haven't quite got it all worked out yet but ideally by this time next year I'll have an area for seedlings / clones, an area to veg and for mothers, and an area to flower in...

Expanding the setup kind of took the backseat for a while after one of my passive income streams essentially disappeared overnight (hit me pretty hard), but with this new promotion I should be able to pick some stuff up here and there until everything fits into place. Unfortunately when the money stops flowing the bills don't follow suite xD
