i came across this snippit of info

A breeder known as Josey Wales created the Gorilla Glue #4 strain. It has won several awards, including recognition at various Cannabis Cups in 2014. However, there is one slight issue: GG4 was created from a hermaphroditic plant. Male and female flowers grow in such plants.

Allowing male plants to grow in your cannabis garden is a recipe for disaster. Their pollen sacs will spread and ruin your crop. One of the keys to preventing ‘hermie’ plants is to ensure they don’t become stressed.

One of the keys to preventing ‘hermie’ plants is to ensure they don’t become stressed.
This means keeping pests and intruders at bay and ensuring your GG4 plants grow in the right conditions. We outline how to do all of this below. Pay special attention to your plants about four weeks into the growth cycle. From this point, you can begin to determine the gender of your plants.

Analyze the area between the nodes of your Gorilla Glue #4 plants. It is from there that pre-flowers appear. In female plants, you should spot bracts that produce stigma. In males, you will see pollen sacs, which are small round balls. If you see plants with sacs, remove them from your garden immediately.

One of the worst strains I ever grew
Ignore the ignorant posts and the cheezie laugh emoji!

Just because GG#4 was not an intentional cross. Makes little difference to it's quality as to the ORIGINAL.

I got it way early on and it grew very well. Other then being a Mg hog AND liking N..

As far as ANY viral issue goes?
MOSAIC viral's ARE NOT an issue in cannabis! PERIOD! Any "HEMP" mosaic is named for "Sunn Hemp" mosaic virus, and THAT effects BEANS!
BTW? Sunn Hemp? IS A BEAN!

It is likely that if you ACTUALLY have a viral issue. It'll be a HOPS virus!
There aren't many either!

I STILL run clone after clone after clone of the original GG#4 I got all those years back too.
While over the years it has done and ENVIRONMENTAL shift (to better match the dominate pheno traits to the environment it's growing in)
It has NEVER had any issues.

NOW THEN.
Your issue is CLEARLY to much P, to early in bloom!

Unfortunately, many nutrient makers outright LIE about the use of "bloom boosters"... It's marketing, not truth!
Their products tend to drop the N to much and at the same time, they raise the P to much!

I have never had a "Hermie" issue with it either. Grow it right and you don't have those problems....

For the most part. You ain't getting the real deal GG#4 if your buying seeds off the net. There is only 1 place to get them and yer better off getting the clone from them over the beans.... They are the REAL guys...

Peace out
