Getting your Pets High

I think it's like a valium to pigs. My pig can be pretty agressive towards other animals but never when he's high. Just don't add alcohol instant asshole he loves to steal beers.

My rat eats my seeds and will go over stems to make sure I got everything, but she stays out of my actual bud and doesn't care for smoke.

Had some peanutbutter medicookies in a baggie on the coffee table. My 3 lb chihuahua got the bag off the table, took out all the cookies and ate the biggest one. She was GLAZED. Another time I was getting some nugs ready for the bowl and my daughter's 2lb dog (chi/yorkie) jumped off my lap to the table and ate the nugs. Needlesstosay she was TOASTED! I don't leave stuff on the table anymore...not with the greedy hounds around here!

It is very common for birds to eat weed seeds my friend has a macaw and cant get enough even dirt weed!
If you look at hemp seed it has protein and omega 3 or DHA which is also in salmon and walnuts plus if you have enough seeds you can make a milk out of it. Growing the hemp plant has tons of uses.

Im all for having pets that like getting stoned. I feel bad because as a teenager I got a few dogs stoned who didnt want to, they didnt enjoy it either. It was mean of me and a mark on my soul. However, pets that like gettong stoned are great. Generally I have found big dogs like it more than little dogs, but I have seen from a few people on here that their PUGS like it. That suprises me. But very cool none the less. I dont think most sporting dogs like itmuch as in hunting, water, sniffing dogs like hounds, labs and spaniels. Could be totally wrong though. I think its because their noses are so sensitive, it probably stings. I had a rot that would follow the joint around the circle beggin for second-hands.

But feeding your pets non fat emulsified weed isnt getting them high, their digestive tracts wont absorb the psychoactives. We call it anthropomorphism, basically a form of transferance. We're stoned, we look at them and assign our human characteristics. Anyways.

I had a ferret once who did a little mdma. (she got into a bag, she loved plastic bags. Ended up with a dusting all over her nose. ) it was pretty interesting to watch.

I have heard the wild bird population in America has drastically been reduced since the stop of hemp production in the states. Heard it was a major food staple for many species of birds.

Sometimes males do hermie and produce seeds.
But then those are hermies. I realize that terminology can be a minefield, but I've always been told (and held) that a hermie is "separate category". cn

<edit> fwiw I remember when wild bird mix was chock-full of viable (if uninteresting) hempseed.

Yes you are right. I just know my buddies bird Fred can't get enough of the seeds. He doesn't really eat the bud just tears it up to get at the seeds.

I am curious about these reports of animals eating raw weed, and how that might be beneficial. afaik, the medicinal compounds in cannabis are not really helpful in the raw state, as they have some sort of acid attached at the molecular level. It is only through heating (and maybe other processes as well) that this acid is released and the compounds become what we find beneficial. That could be all bunk for all I know but that is what I have read.

Does it work? I give my pig glucosamine and it gets expensive giving him 3 a day.He certainly loves to eat weed. Do you need to cook the products? would love to try some on my pig.
