Getting Water Analysis.!?

Where do i go to get one? the water company, yeah? take some of my tap water or they get it from there? i need to know how hard or soft my water is. i dont want to screw up my grow anymore

if you have municipal water then all yo yhave to do is call them and request a report. im pretty sure they cannot refuse. they also send one to your house every year.

its not city/county water. its a water company, private type. i guess i just need to go see them. take a little bit. what exactly do i ask for? just a water sample analysis?

im pretty sure theres a wee gizmo you can get to read how hard or soft the water is..

if you pay someone to pump water into your house, they are legaly obligated to provide you with a detailed analysis of that water. call/write them and you will get what you desire.

act like some uptight new parent who doesnt trust the water supply for thier new bundle of joy. say you heard a rumor about lead levels in the water. theres a hundred legit reasons to request a report.

Just ask nicely, like slik said they have to provide you with it. you dont have to answer any questions as to why you want it, or tell them an far fetched excuse. just ask nicely.

ok in my typical fashion i put this off for a while. a few days ago i did go back though, talked to a cashier there who didnt really know the deal. she had someone call me later. they said they cant really give me much other than a chlorine level, that i should take a sample to a university or something. are these water people full of shit or what? i have had the same problems with my last 2 crops. fan leaves get yellow and soft. then dry up, curl and fall off. i MAY be under ferting them. im fairly sure im not overdoing it. or im guessing its something with the water, my first plant i used nothing but bottled water and had no problems

magnesium deficiency?

maybe magnesium i dunno.. i lean toward phosphorus myself. posting some pics so maybe i can get some help. first is my first plant, the one i used bottled water for. i had like no problems with this plant other than it going hermi from light leaks

next is is some of the fan leaves, after they have yellowed, dried and curled. then a shot on the plants. i dont think its nute burn because it just shows on the fan leaves. it hasnt made it to any of the other leaves yet. ive seen my plants with a little burn, with crisply tips and such. this isnt it, i think...
last pic is another shot of some dead leaves with white background.

for the first half of this grow i was using 7.25 ph water. my pool test kit wasnt accurate enough so i got a ph pen. now water goes in 6.25-6.5.

could use some oppinions on this if you have any.
