Getting Close to Harvest Time (Pics)

I'm getting close, but it now appears certain that I will need to stagger my harvest, as the 6 plants are maturing at different rates.

As you can see, the above ate slightly ahead of my largest plant, seen here:

So just gonna keep a close eye on the for the next few days. Lot of white pistils yet, and the trichones still look mostly clear, though the cheap jeweler's loupe I got isnt the best.

Getting nervous for trimming/drying- I screwed this up during my last (first) grow attempt. Still not sure where to dry - dont have really any good spots and need to be concerned about smell. My grow shed temps are just too hot (75-80 degrees) for drying so I have to come up with a solution quick.

Is 75-80 too hot? How is the humidity in there?
From what I've read and seen it appears 75-80 degrees is too hot. I'm not really sure. I have a dehumidifier in the shed so I can control the humidity pretty well. But none of that matters if I have to stagger the harvest because I dont have a tent or room in the shed to set-up a tent to keep the drying bud dark. I'd also bet my shed temps would drop a bit without the lights running 12 hrs a day.

Can you put the drying bud into a big moving box with a lid and cut vents at the bottom where light won't shine in? Maybe hang it from lines of string. At the floor of the shed it will be a bit cooler than canopy, and if it is not too humid I bet you sneak by alright

Dry in the tent with lights off I’ve dried with temps “too high” before give em 9 days stick em in jars will take a lil longer to cure but usually fine

Can you dry in your tent?
If not, maybe consider disconnecting your fan / filter and using it in the room you dry in to keep smell down.

They are maybe staggering so wants some help with keeping the buds dark while in the shed with the lights on the unripe plants I believe. I do think the shed can work too though!

I can get my shed humidity down to 50% rh, or anywhere higher than that. 55%, 60%, no issues. Getting lower than 50% is thoug, but have had it down to 45% depending on outside conditions (quite humid here right now).

There is no way I can fit a small tent in the shed, just not a big shed and not enough room if I'm going to have flowering and drying happening at the same time (staggered harvest).

You guys are all contradicting what I've read, that ideal drying conditions are 65-70 degrees and rh of 55%-60%. Are you all sure?

If heat isn't an issue, I can harvest all at once and just use the shed. Yes, I will be harvesting 25%-50% before it's optimally ready.

My only other option is a tiny closet in my finished basement. I would have to move my carbon filter/fan into it and basically just set it on the floor to scrub the air in the closet (no way to vent outside of house). This is what I want to avoid due to the smell, but I do not want to throw 4 months of veg/flowering out the window.

Open to any suggestions you guys have.

If your humidity is in the right zone, and it appears yours can easily be, I would think the shed is fine. Slightly less than ideal temps, sure, but nothing wildly outside of the correct range. It's obviously easier to do it all at once than chop it staggered in your case.
