i think they would do fine if ya started them in march not june !! if they was alot bigger with a big root mass they would take the heat better lol.. i couldn't have started them in any worst heat than we did this season .but i know which ones will take it and won't for future crops i don't like the heat so i don't expect plants too hahaha
Yeah, you'll get an early start next year. ...

003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg006.jpg008.jpg they are all growing good now and are starting to show the different traits of each strain . in order they are blue sea, poison warp , sea hash , money maker, and madd jack . we took the hay off them and it was used only till they got the roots going ,it kept the soil damp on top so the soil/roots didn't get cooked in the heat wave we had .

nice looking healthy plants :)
thanks tld !! the seaweed juice helps alot with heat stress issues. the ones we didn't use it on sure looked alot worse during the heat wave so we give it to all of them and they all look the same now just upped the dosage alittle lol... we try to give them the best care ya can everyday

012.jpg013.jpg009.jpg011.jpgthe second spot has the holes filled now and it doesn't look so bare lol.. also the rest of the replacements are doing good under a shade cloth from the bright sun only don't really need all of them but we will seed the best strains now we know which ones like the ca. weather .

Hey Getaway I know you have addressed this in the past but I lost the info. What are the genetics on the Getaway Mountain and the Island Afghani? Those are the 2 that are currently running now in my garden. :)

Everything is looking great and I can't wait to see your plants at the onset of flowering. You running any Island Afghani out there right now.

getaway- double purple doja x jack the ripper x devil x hollands hope x island afghani
island afghani- old school 70"s era afghani skunk that some hippys have had for 30 years + and is very acclimented to coastal wetter climates , great mold resistance
ya we got a few going but they are the last batch and are small but we got them going with some other strains with that heat wave we had and losing a bunch i started more and now got way to many again lol.... better than not enough i quess

Nice! I should have given the Getaway more room but it was an "I think I can get a plant in that spot" situation. I was running Poison Warp but it sacked up on me and I just cut it. I am at the point where I expected to be with the unsexed few that I put out. I will be shooting you a PM shortly about Juice talks. :)

If ya use alfalfa hay ya get all the benefits from the regular hay, plus once it breaks down, alfalfa is awesome for plant growth! Looking great friend! Will def keep up with this thread ;)
