My cat is fixed but comes running when we start smoking. It's such commonplace to have her in the session that you actually notice more when she's NOT around. More often than not it's because she got shut in a bathroom, the laundry room, etc while doing "cat stuff" and not because she doesn't want to smoke. She'll jump up on your lap and just take rips to the face, or sit on the arm of the couch and just bask in the clouds of smoke. Basically anytime we're smoking she's usually right there in the heart of it, by choice. I've never forced her to smoke or hotboxed her or anything cruel like that. Like I said, she CHOOSES to show up and bake out and she loves it! Her name? The Great Marlini! Marley for short ..... of course
Some animals just seem to dig weed. My buddy's Siberian Husky shares a similar passion for smoking but my Australian Shepherd has no interest. The Husky lines up for hits with the cat and the Aussie just kind of looks disinterested if smoke comes his way. Sounds like your cat is somewhere in the middle. Once thing is consistent though with animals. You won't ever see them loading anything up!
Oh and I saw this thread going in a totally different direction when I read "Get My Pussy High?" I guess that makes me the pervert
I think the IMPORTANT thing is, IF the cat or dog comes RUNNING to GET stoned is fine. But to blow smoke into an animal's face to force it to get stoned is fucked up. I knew somebody who got their kitten high by blowing smoke into her nose and that poor kitty never had a sense of balance after that. She couldnt jump from the couch to the mantle, for instance. She would miss, everytime. And, she landed on her back as often as not.
Please....dont force the cat. If she stays in the room while you smoke, she WILL get high. If she LIKES it, she will come running when she smells it. But please, dont force her.
I used to have the most beautiful PitBull. he was sleeping beside me on the couch once while I was smoking and I didnt even think about it....but when he woke up he was clearly upset and frightened. And he had this look in his eye. Frankly, I was a little scared of him for the first time. He held his head low, ears laid back, tail curved under....and he kept looking from side to side with this, well, scary look on his face, like he didnt even know me. Man....I NEVER let him be around when I smoked, after that.
Im guessing animals are like people....in that SOME people like it and some people just get paranoid. That dog def went into Paranoia and a 70 poind paranoid Pitty aint nothing to be around.
