Get some paper towels or napkins wet them (but not soaked) place seed between the paper (have at good few sheets) I place in a warm dark place like cupboard or airing cupboard - make sure paper doesn't dry out (check at least twice a day) you should see a sprout within a day or two.. once tap root is about half inch long I pot into my growing medium..

i know everyone has their own method to germ seeds. i just stick my seeds in jiffy plugs and let them grow till they have their first set of 3 fingered leaved then i transplant into my 6" pot for my SOG

Yeah exactly... there are dozens of different techniques for germing.. just go with what ever suits you

I use the "cup of water method". It seems to work out fine for me. I have also used the paper towel method before though.

Just fill a cup with regular bottled, room temperature mineral water and drop your seeds in. Keep them in a dark warm place. Some will sink to the bottom right away, others will sink after about 24 hours. If not, just give them a tap with your finger and they should sink.

Take them out after 48 hours, you should see them crack open and the tap root.

I then plant them tap root down in plastic cups filled with Pro-mix BX potting mix (I use Pro-mix for the entire grow).

I keep them in a dome under a dual 6500K T8 florescent running 24 hours.

Yeah, I do the same as costly obsession. I have a jittery feeling sometimes that chemicals or additives in the paper towels/tissues and/or napkins could ruin the germination process.

I usually fill a small shot glass half way with bottled mineral water, drop the seeds in it and cover it with a dark cup etc. I then place it somewhere warm like in a draw or water cupboard.. Usually germinates and starts showing signs of cracking around 24hrs (some seeds take longer than others). I then remove them gently and plant them.

Ive always went with the paper towel method. Never had too many problems with it. Explain to us how your attempts went and what you did, that way we might be able to help you a bit more.

cup of water technique works best for me, always gotten 100% germ. and its nice to not have to worry about the paper towels drying out. I just germinated a batch of Reserva Privada OG Kush #18 and instead of putting them in the incubator until they develop their first set of 3 fingers and then transplanting them into a 3 gallon grow bag with Ocean Forest; is there any reason the seed wouldnt grow if i skipped the incubator and put them in the 3 gallons with ocean forest and stick them under the T8 veg light 24/24?

they say that nothing beats the natural order of things. Get some very light, spongy seedling mix, and place them right oin the medium.
