Hey guys just wanted to provide an update. No dome used the entire time, humidity at 7o%. as you can see it has been a couple of days and all sprouted but 1 liberty haze, I opened up the rockwool and it hasnt even germinated. Dunked the rockwool and placed it back in the tray.

Tray has a mat below it set on low the entire time.

Picture without bulbs was taken 3 hours before the one with the CFLs. Today i turned the lights on in the afternoon.

temp. 72 not counting the heat of the mat. humidity 70%

Hows yours coming??? Thanks for letting me share.IMG01634-20120720-1849.jpgIMG01631-20120720-1302.jpg

Ev'ry year for about 8 years I followed the wet kitchen paper method and had from 20% to 60% success. This year I soaked for 24 to48 hours in water and then directly to medium, half in soil and half in peat coco pellets = I had 100 % succes. The difference between coco pellets and soil is that in pellets they sprouted almost immediately. No more kitchen paper for me!

i have used most methods and all work

most include humidity and heat pad

lately im germing in a cd case wit folded papertowels in it
i put seeds in place then put enough water to soak them oavernight put whole thing into a baggie on heat pad laying flat
the next day sumtimes split already ( i used to plant at split )
oh next day i stand on end so gravity can help to make tap straight
now i l eave until seed shell comes off and tap is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long
at this point im planting a young seedling -not wondering if it is gona come up through soil

seems to work for me
and that is whut is important whut works for you
