Germination Question

I've read the FAQ, which has this link:

What are others thoughts on germination?

I now have the light to support a good grow. I am learning tons off my bag seed. I want to start my good seed.

From what I can tell, the above link is satisfactory. I have surfed multiple google hits as well. Some submerge the seed in a warm dark place. Others use wash clothes in a jar with some water in the botom...Others use napkins (soaked) and zip lock bags...

So which is the method that bears the most hatchlings?

Thanks all...

personally i prefer to use paper towels. get em wet put seeds in the middle then i throw it on top of my cable box to keep it warm

in about 3 days i'll throw it in some plastic cups then when its got a few leaves i'll transplant to something bigger

yea me to i like to put them in a paper towel in water in a dark place then wait til there around 2 inches long
The other thing too, water the napkin just once?

Is that enough to get the seed wet and start the mitosis? Does it need anymore water after that?

Is the paper towel submerged in water? Or it was just REAL wet?
Real wet (use warm water) and placed in a plastic deli container or something similar. Put the seeds between the two layers of paper towel, like they are the meat on a sandwich. Place somewhere warm. On top of dvd player, stereo, monitor, etc.
