Germination Method?

I've seen 3 methods primarily used throughout the web. The "Green house" (grow in soil under a dome), cup of water, and finally the legendary paper towel.

I've tried all 3 methods and have had the mixed success!

Please vote on the the method you have popped the most beans with or share a new method for us to try out!

Directly in saturated medium in a cup, no dome, leave it alone until it comes up

I think germinating the seed direct in a medium gives a less stretchy and stronger stem. That will be my go to in the future.

Dirt, seed, water.

Easy. Its a seed designed to grow. No need to baby it.

I've seen this done once before.. I may have to give it a try

I use Rockwool starter cubes for seeds I purchased. See chapter 7 & 8 of my tutorial:

For seeds I make I use polyurethane foam compressed into little Hempy cups. I also experiment with polyfil as a medium.
