Hey guys, i want to tell you my story and get some feedback ( i could just wait a few days and find out if the seeds don't grow but im curious now ). Anyway, i ordered some WW seeds from the attitude/seedsman. I boiled some water, let it sit out for 24 hours, then put the lukewarm water in a small cup, which i placed 4 of my fem. white widow into. I unplugged 2 of my computer fans and set the small bowl in under my video card, at the bottom of the case, with a lid on it that was barely cracked open. It stood for 12 hours with my computer on and when i got came back from work i put my finger in the water, it wasn't warm, it was room temp/little bit cooler... So I took out the sides from the bowl, decided to change over to a distilled water from the store and a much smaller shotglass container, and i placed it in better warmer area for 2 more hours. After i took them out I noticed that each seed had one little hole at the tip of the seed (almost like the seed had its own asshole lol). then switched over to my foxfarm oceanforest mix and planted them about 1/4 - 1/2 inches does into the middle of the mix, and then i watered/did a few soft presses on the dirt then laid circular peices of plastic ontop of them and they are now sitting behind my xbox in a cornered area being kept warm from it being on..
Im worried that i might have let the temp drop too low ( im positive it didn't drop too low, just a little under room temp ), would lower temps halt germination easily? also, is it normal for seeds to create small holes like that?
also, how do you guys water your seeds/sprouts? I didn't have a spray bottle at the time and it was late so i ended up having to carefully pour water ontop of the soil, i know this isn't the best method but i didn't put too much water so im hoping it'll be fine
