Germinating

Hello guys I just placed two seeds in a a glass of water for 12-13 hours then placed in a moist paper towel, the next day just one of them cracked open the other one didn t so I.placed them in moist soil and wattered them a little do u think in like 7 days I will see something?

Yes, just keep them warm like ontop of your refrigerator.

I ve already puted them outside in the moist soil hope they will be fine.It s pretty hot outside but no to much

Next time try putting the seeds in a solo cup and let them come up and get a bit established before just putting them outdoors in soil.
One good rain or a single grasshopper could kill them very easily.

I like to leave em in the paper towel till i see a tap root of at least 1/2",( 2-7days) then they can go into a small container with medium of your choice. Once they start to grow true leaves, and grow a bit then they can go into bigger container.
I just germinated 6 and two days later they all have a long tap root over 1/2"... just putting them into peat pellets today, till they get their first true leaves.

Hopefully yours will be ok, may take a few days for them to pop from just going into soil without tap root. Wish you the best!

Paper towel gang all day long esp with old seeds ive had them drown - yes its possible

Growing outside? As apposed to optimized temps inside, what should I worry about outside, my main concern is outside temps, south west area. I am able to veg inside.
