germinating seeds help please

hi after reading many methods i tried putting some seeds in the paper towel 1 cracked after 48hrs so i put it in a pot with a 250w cfl about 6inch above how long should i wait until the plant pops through the soil? i know this has been asked 1000s of times but im a bit stuck! thanks

If you didn't plant too deep probably 2-3 days. Keep it moist don't let it dry out.

If you did everything gentle and the tap root facing down you will be fine. Dont overwater, maybe mist the soil and put a peice of seran wrap to make a little greenhouse effect and be patient.

ok thanks ill put some on the pot then just checked and found another seed cracked with the taproot showing so ill plant that in the morn thanks again
