I'm using the layering method with FFOF on the bottom. I have a little bit of Promix Premium moisture potting soil.

Can use this in the top have mixed with 25% FFOF?

I wouldn't use FFOF for seedlings. You run the risk of burning early on. Possibly stunting it and other issues.

You don't need to feed your seedling until after a few weeks. At this point you should be transplanting it to a larger pot and THEN you can feed it.

I was using FFOF to start seedlings and had 100% germination rate, but learned from the members here that it's hot and stunts the growth at the least, and after paying attention to that, they are correct... I did get 100% germination but they do seem slow growing.. I was recommended to buy Coast of Maine starter soil but the grow store didn't have any today when I went... they sold me this instead... hope it's ok...
