Germinating Question !!

I just got my seeds from Nirvana, and I wanted to know when is it a good time to plant them, I put the seeds in a cup with distilled water on Saturday afternoon, today the seeds have popped open and I can see the root, how ever it still has not come out of the seed fully, I was wondering can I plant them now or wait another day till the root comes out of the seeds a little more?

plant now...as long as its cracked and u can see the root..dont touch root..plant ROOT FACING DOWN

OK, I know I tried that before with some other seeds, and nothing grew..Is iit really good to plant now..??

yeah man plant it. keep it damp. The longer the taproot the easier it can dry out an die.

or handled in some other way which could kill it.

Ok thanks guys... Oh yeah after I plant do I keep them under light or darkness, until the sign's of life??

Full of smoke you in the US? I've been looking for a new seed bank. From what I've heard around RIU they seem pretty reliable.

Darkness till you see the sprout, then either 18/6 or 24 hours a day till you flower.

when i got a whole bunch of seeds i put them in a moist paper towel and just let the tap roots fully come out of there shells so it looked like a root with two forming leaves then i planted them and they worked fine for me

really? huh. Anytime I've tried anything like that they either died on me or were severely stunted compared to other plants.

Its just always so sketchy. Either your buying some weed seeds with something with your name on it or your sending cash halfway around the world. No sir, I just don't like it.

Plant with the tap root facing down. Use sterilized tweezers and handle very carefully. DONT TOUCH THE TAP ROOT. DONT DROWN IT WITH WATER AFTER PLANTING. It's a good idea to mix the soil ahead of time in a bowl with some water to get it damp through and through and then put the damp soil in your planter, then dig a little hole and plant. Use a mister to keep the soil moist. You don;t want to disturb the thing splashing water on it until it gets a firm hold. KEEP IT WARM AND DARK until it pushes through the surface. Also, if you smoke you or have other chemicals on your hands be sure to wash your hands before handling seeds.
