genetics questions

I was reading on dutch passion about fem seeds And it seemed the odds of hermi were pretty high can anyone with fem seeds confirm this?

Also I was wondering if the smoke from said hermi plant was comparable to one that didnt hermi.

Basically im scared to buy fem seeds but should I be?

Also if I was to have a hermi from some decent genetics the seeds from those would be crap right? Also completely unclonable?

Sorry for the questions but also im wondering is it possible to have f1 femenized seeds?

Help me find and understand wht good seed genetics really are I would appreciate it alot.

The only time I had a herm it was bag seed and my own fault. I have never had a fem seed be hermie.

Herm plant does not have the same punch from my experience. Pain in the ass to smoke because buds are full of seeds. I have gotten accustomed to no seeds!

I did have a few strains from DP that hermied but that was a few years ago. I have not tried them again but have grown exclusivly femmed strains and never had a hermie in appr 2 years. Had great luck with Kannabia, and serious seeds so far. Im on my second run of Barney's Critical Kush and no issues.

Feminized seeds are great.
They are just as likely to "hermie" as plants from regular seeds.
They save space and time. Growing a plant for 4-7 weeks only to find out it is male sucks.

I have produced thousands of feminized seeds and grown out a bunch. Feminized seeds are fine.

I have grown a ton of Dutch Passion Blueberry and never had a problem with it.
I just found a sativa pheno and am about to start making feminized seeds once the clones are rooted.

Female plants (XX) chromosomes) that produce male flowers are not technically hermaphrodites. That usually happens as a result of stress.
It is a normal and natural survival mechanism.

Plants that have both an X and a Y chromosome and produce both male and female flowers together are real, dioecious hermaphrodites. They are rare in most stable strains.

Pure sativa females sometimes tend to put out male flowers near the end of the flowering cycle. Indicas do not do that as much.

What Trousers said lol. I dont have the time to fuck around. Im typically on the verge of running out so I stick with the femmed seeds. To be fair I probably stressed the crap out of the DP grow and it was Blueberry which I hear is a hard one to not stress! wierd thing is when I was doing the outdoor thing thats all we grew were blueberry clones and lots I might add lol. The big thing was bud rot!
