I wouldn't breed with any known heritage that has bred with feminized seeds, but I do grow with them indoors quite frequently when space time and money is involved... I think they have their place, just not in breeding.

Was able to get 4 packs of NCG x kings banner from gooey breeder for Black Friday from genetic supply also grab a 6 pack of fem SFV kush from Cali connection tossed in 2 5 pack freebies of orange cola. Chelumbian x Cali O. Was very surprised when I grew out the 3 females that 1 pack gave me very similar phenotypes and 1 plant took 11 days longer to finish but she was the 1 best of the 3 had more cheesy citrus funk terps. No cola at all lol pop your freebies guys and gals had some of my best plants from freebies. Was gifted a 5 pack of regular citrus farmer F2s and got 2 very nice females but they were very different. The F2 let out some recessive traits. But both were some serious smoke

. Do they recommend a certain germination technique for older seed stock? Do they ever replace orders for non-germination? They did double his order for free and throw in some extra seeds in the packs which was very cool, but now I wonder if that was because of known germination rates being low on old stock. Has anyone had a similar experience, and how did it go?
I don't know, but some people claim that if you scuff or even crack the outer shell just a bit that then the seeds will have enough energy to pop. I haven't tried any of those. But seems to me if you are buying seeds today and aren't sold under auspices of them being a novelty item one should get some viable seeds.My buddy recently ordered some old subcool stuff from genetic supply, and tried popping some seeds this week. 0/10 after 4 days
Thanks, that’s exactly what I told my buddy to do - scuff the seeds. I also told him to email and ask if they had any specific recommendations for popping older seeds. I’m hoping they offer to replace them. Old stuff is always a gamble. I hope it works out because it’s his first ever seed purchase.
Put em in airtight container in fridge for 48 hours then 1-10 peroxide to water use a new razor and gentle run it in the seem where ther split and soak for a few days. U should see a few pop tails. I e had trouble popping some 10 year old sour seeds that were bangers. Any more on this? Dealing with some old beans that I'm wishing to revive and so far and it's 0 for 30 almost. Crazy. New stock is popping in 24 to 48 hours. Some of the old beans have cracked open but no tails whatsoever trying to revive a bunch of freebies now instead of preferred stock. I'd rather fail on the freebies than the ones I paid for
