General Organics

Hey all, I am just in the beginning stages of starting to do my first hydro grow. Just a question about which nutrients to use: I know that GH is the number one recommended line to use, but how about the General Organics. Is it ok to use this in a hydro system? Just in the little bit of research ive been doing, cant seem to find out much. Everyone seems to only use it for dirt, just want to know if its safe to use for hydro? Any info is appreciated, thanks.

this depends on the type of hydroponics system your using. Generally that answer is if it has to breakdown into plant neuts its a soil thing as bacteria will breakdown the organics and consume oxygen until no more oxygen is left and anerobic bacteria will form and sufficate roots.. if your using a spray style system itll clog your sprayers drying out the roots.. you should stick to the end product which is fertilizer salts for hydro as a beginner... as you progress and you really wanna use organics for hydro you can .. but its a huge learning curve.. stick to salts.
