General Organics GO box opinions

Hi I'm Nick, a new patient/member. I just started a soil-based grow and purchased the General Organics Go box for my nutrients and was curious to hear some opinions/advice. Will I need any additional nutes not included with this for a full, prorper spectrum?

I used it in my first few grows and it worked great. Since I was still learning I of course burned up some shit with it too. The thing is, that box includes an awful lot of stuff some of which you may not even need. I'd go no more than half strength on any of them or even less if your plants are young. The Cal-Mag they supply is pretty good too but again, easy with them.

Ive been using them with good results . I just follow the feeding on the box and have never had a problem with it .

Sweet. Thanks for the advice/replys. I've only been using 1/2 to 1/4 tsp of the nutes when adding so I don't nuke em haha. I've already had to flush due to not checking the ppm of my well water before doing the pH and thinking all was good. So now I just use RO bottled water, add nutes, pH, then add. Next step will be my own RO system just to save on money/recycling. I'm running Pro Mix Biofungicide with added pearlite and vermiculite so I'm going to look into the worm castings. A friend says to get General Hydroponics Micro, but I want to keep it organic just to see if there is a difference and I don't believe they make an organic micro.

Just because it says organic on the bottle, doesn't make it so.

Really awesome site! Thank you very much Chuck Estavez, it apears I have much to read. I was going off of what the guy at Worm's Way pointed me towards when I asked about organic nutrients, and I should have known better. What you have provided me with is MUCH more along the lines of where I would like to be. I should have taken the extra step and researched a bit more than just asking.

A lot of the products in the GO box are still force feeding your plants via acids. Now as someone shooting for an organic finished product this is definitely better than force feeding via salts. Just be aware that it is not a "natrural" way for the plants to uptake food.

I think that the finished product usually comes out great and has all the amazing qualities of organic cannabis. In my experience though roots organics box's are around the same price and produce a higher yield compared to GO. This is just my exopierence though, and I'm not saying to trash what you are doing and do what I say, just giving you my opinion.

I still use the GO CaMg+ because it is one of the few companies to have a liquid bottle of calcium and magnesium carbonate.

I used the GO Box at first..
I was not very impressed myself. I think if I was going to stay "organic" I would be doing teas, and additives in soil. compost etc.

941mick, I think i'm going to GO the distance this first run with them just so I don't completely waste the $, but I'm going to utilize a more organic way as advised by the helpful people here.

Dr Who, Will definately check that out. Seems like it is exactly what I need.

Jcon420, I appreciate the honesty. I'll be keeping records so I have some numbers to compare with my future data.
