general organics general questions for hydro

Hello everyone here at RIU,
I have a few general questions on the GO line of products.
I'm setting up a room right now and am debating on soil vs soilless. I have the entire GO line and also myco maddness from humbolt nutrients. The question I have is on yeild and taste and system setup.
1. Will I be ok to do a top feeding recirculating system in sunshine mix number 4, or should I just grow in soil and if soil what's the best combination.
2. If soil is only option will I be ok to scrog it. The strain I'm going with is connie from TGA seeds, or perhaps monkey paw or maybe devilberry, if you have any background with these strains please respond with reviews.
3.Reviews on yield and potency compared to other organic and synthetic nutrients.

Doesn't anyone have any expierence with these nutes.

I am using them in soil-less promix. I use the full line including the subcultures b/m, diamond black, and biomarine. There is another member Jerry Garcia, who uses GO nutrients in soil-less.

I havent harvested any that used GO yet, I just started using it. However Jerry's plants look just as good, if not better, than the ones ive grown using ANs full synthetic line.

Top feed recirculating? Im not sure that would work well with soil-less, maybe rockwool or hydrotron clay.

Soil-less would use a top feed drain to waste, or hand watered drain to waste.

How many plants are you growing at a once? If not many I would hand water. If its gonna be 20+ then I would invest in an automated top feed setup.

I wanna get 10 to 16 in a 4x4 but I'm not sure yet, would you reccommend scrog or sog I'm pretty sure on how to do both and if I went sog it would be 16 and I would lst a bit, what size pots should I use is 3 gallon overkill cuz I'm going to get smart pots and if I could save 20 bucks getting the 2 gallons and it not affect quantity and flower size then I would. Also d gotti r u indoors and how bad is the bio marine smell, also how often do you water with promix, I'm looking for a soil, or soilless medium that will need watered every day or 2, the guy at the store said sunshine 4 is good shit but drains way fast. I've made up my mind to hand water just unsure of medium and pot size. Thanks for you help.

You wont fit 16 3 gallons in a 4x4. I used to do 9 3 gallons in a 4x4. for 16 you would want 2 gallon pots maximum and a 600w hps. you could do 25 1 gallons in a 4x4 too.

With promix bx I water every 2-4 days. Some plants eat faster than others. Yeah Im indoors too. The amount of plants depends on what you have for lighting too.

I would do less plants like 9 in 2 gallon smart pots or superroots air pots, they would be like running 3 gallon plastic pots. Easier to manage with hand watering. Nice manageable sized plants too.

GO is just the bio bizz lineup remade due to the two companies splitting ways but general hydro still wanting a slice of the organic market. Great shit in soil but in hydro ive heard mixed results with some people getting a lot of foam in the res etc. I've always been a soil guy and GO is some great shit, also ordering Blue mountain organics for this years grow which im pretty pumped about

yea I'm really pumped, almost done setting up and getting my equiptment, I have everything cept tent light buckets and soil, tent will be bought in 2 weeks as I will be getting clones and I have a 4' t8 6400 bank for them, and soon after should get my light, how long will the be good under the flouro before stretch starts happening? Also soil or soilless, I'm thinkin happy frog the entire way through, I like the limited nutrients that's in it and I hear it drains good as well. I would go ffof but id like to know exactly what's going in and how much is in it, I figure I will burn thru the happy frog nutes fast and begin pumpin em up with some good ol' organic love. Thanks everyone for your imputs and stay tuned ill be gettin clones in 2 or 3 weeks and beginning my first grow journal, 2nd indoor grow ever. My first one was shit, 150w hps and flouros, all excited goin hydro and had way more issue than it was worth like 3/4 oz dry off one 18" plant that branched like a mofo.
