no you will be fine, i know mom and pop growers that grow with 1000w MH's and HPS's like way too many to count.and even if it did jump your electric bill a little, a little change isnt enough to arrest anyone, cfl's are the green way to go, less energy consumption than a house full of incandescents, thats fer sure

I grow with 750 watt actual CFL and when they're on 24/7 my electric bill goes up about$ 3.00

dont think them CLFs would make it jump more then if you got a new hobby .. lets say big fish tanks or Terrariums with lights and pumps aso.
dont think the police have time to go and check everybody who use a littel more then next door ..
if your concerned about power use .. switch the rest of the house to small CLFs and buy a new fridge if its old or skip the dryer and hang up your clothes ..
there are many way to safe on power els where to make up for it or some of it .. them smart power connectors that switch off the stand by and safe you 10% a year with nothing more to do then buy em and add your Etc. Big screen TV .. Bluray .. PC aso
you also do a good deed as you safe on power and don't consume more then before .. and the money safe is`t bad either once the bill is in the mail ..
do some research/goggling and see how you can safe some ..

go 16/8 in Veg and 11/13 in flowering if your really concerned ..

You're in the clear dude. I run 2000w with no problem. You can probably go a little more with the wattage if you want. Unless you can't afford the electric bill. One tip that I have learned recently, turning off your water heater. Saves a grip on the bill!

LOL, you could probably run 2 CFL's and would use less than 1 regular incandescent for same amount of time
My ak47 growing great real bushy ,wish I could upload a pic from my blackberry anyway it been about a month so far since started and in my opinion it still really short eventho it to me is super bushy
When does it really start sprouting up in size? when should I be worried that its not gonna grow or growing to its full potential in the small grow medium I have it in (hydfroponically)? Roght now I'm using floraduo part a anmd it seems to be working very nice I mean whenever I feed it persay within three days or so many more leaves form
In ur opinion without a pic and my description does it sound like its growing correctly ? Leaves are very dark green in color and there are some that have very slight discoloring (yellow to be exact) but not m$ajor in terms of the are of the plant discolored any info,advice,suggestions etc etc is appreciated also if pics would help me get a better opinion on health of my plant or what have you please let me know and once I in front of a computer not a blackberry ill upload some pics of my ak47 grow so to get a diagnosis or whatever on if it looks healthy and if it growing properly or what have you for the tim$e its been growing.
Also onme last piece of info is I'm growing under cfls(x6/200 watts)amd they're on 24/7 right now oh yeah and 1 more thing sorry for the llengthy message/? But how can I assure getting the best potency from my hydro grow?some1 on here maybe a couple of people/replies told me that I'm gonna 1 get very small yield and 2 not very good or potent final product
Is this thanks to low heat lights as in cfls rather than hps lights? Lumens or what please keep it as simple as possible (the answer) this is my firts grow so I am not to familiar with all the scientific grow lingo thank you

Yes howing an ak47 fem plant hydroponically and eventho in a small grow box lowryder deluxe my plant is still very small?why? Its only about 6 inches in height but also about 6inches wide (bushy) looks healthy but its not growing as tall as I'd expected even in a small short grow box I mean the box 30 inches tall but the plant so far only about 6 inches tall and its been about 2 monthjs so far it been growing

Just sprouted some new seeds superskunk fem or something like that I forget exactly may be northern lights for alls I know I just got a new batch shipped to me from some seed company in the UK anyway the strains were northern lite fem and skunk fem anyway I just wanted to know 2 things 1does any1 know how reputable UK seed companies are ? I ask this cause the seeds I just got don't look as healthy or as good as the ak47 fem seeds I got from bc Canada and 2 more importantly , how close to the newly sprouted seed/plant should I keep the light ? And how do I know if it too close ? And 1 more ? How long must I veg before starting flowering ?
