General Hydroponics Nutrients for soil

Hey guys! It’s been awhile but I have searched and searched for this answer online and can’t find it! I will be growing dwarf low flyer autoflower in Fox Farm soil.

But first I’m starting the seeds in regular seed starting mix.

My question is if I’m growing in Fox Farm how much/often should I be fertilizing with general hydroponic nutes. Everywhere I read says you can use GH nutes in soil but it doesn’t really tell you specifics!

Any info is appreciated.

I've never used GH in soil but I do use it in coco, i have to use it with each water, but that's how coco works.

Since soil does retain nutrients, i would say feeding once weekly and see how that affects the plants. Increase or reduce from there, depending on if they get light green (increase) or get all dark green and shiny (reduce).

Every other watering in soil is pretty standard or water, water, feed, water, water, feed, etc. Are you starting in an inert soil or an amended soil? This will also affect how you feed.

Which FF soil? FFOF will last awhile without anything. Happy Frog will also, but not as long. Personally I would pick either Hydro or soil, it that's just me. I have some coco and GH nutes here that I'm gonna experiment with when I get motivated.

That's crazy man. I didn't know it took so little of that GH stuff. I thought you got off the bottle though, lol.

That's crazy man. I didn't know it took so little of that GH stuff. I thought you got off the bottle though, lol.

I did man. I'm all about blood meal, bone meal, EWC and Epsom salt now.
Gh doesn't go far when your using it on 200 plants...

Thanks for the info guys! I’ll be starting in FFOF and from what I’m reading I’ll wait a few weeks before introducing GH fertilizer. I’ll def follow the chart ^ when doing so.
