If you get a medical marijuana card the ATF says you are a raging drug addict who is too incompetent to own a firearm :roll: , so be careful.

So I grew up in the springs and moved out of there before it got too crazy and headed north to Foco where I was for 10+ years. Love north Colorado and would go back to foco if I could get a decent job there. Spring is too crowded and crazy for my taste now. Good luck with the move.

IS pueblo a nice place in your guys opinion? I know what city-data says, but what do you guys think? Keep in mind I grew up in vegas, so even the skeeziest shit hole seems like paradise to me...^^

I don't like Pueblo personally, but there are tons of people who do. I wouldn't live in Denver either, but again I am outvoted. I like the suburbs along the foothills. It depends what you are looking for. Small town, big city, country, mountain style, what's your personal paradise? The best rule of thumb is to live near where you work or go to school to minimize the commute. You want to be in a nice place, not the place that is cheapest per foot. You should be able to enjoy the view from your porch and be able to walk around without fear. Maybe a month to month rental until you get the lay of the land and find a place that fits.

I lived in Pueblo for five years, and hated it for the first two (I missed living in Denver), then started falling in love with it. One of these days, I'd love to move back. You just have to find your place and before you know it, you'll have a new family.

And, btw, GREAT green chile!

I've live here all my life and never had to carry even when stomping through the so called tough "hoods". Pu-tow isn't my favorite but it's ok. There are some dispensaries there but I know locals who grow better. Sure I could help you out. I don't like pueblo cause its not Colorado enough for me. The san Luis valley is the place. The climate is hard but if you are experienced or have experienced help its easy to grow. I still favor indoors anyway. If you are gonna be living on campus you can't grow anyway. Hit me up if you guys ever come to the slv it'll be a fun time.

San Luis Valley sounds like the place to be in southern-southern Colorado

I would much love to explore San Juan mountains, hike Compahgragaaaaaa peak

I second the San Luis Valley. I bought land down there two years ago and started building a house. I should be moving down there in March, really excited about it. I'm about half an hour outside Alamosa, ten miles south of Blanca. Super gorgeous down there and hardly any people, gotta love it.

I care less about "ooh its hard work bla bla" for I would have no problem living the rest of my life around there ranching and farming

Wake up, tend to livestock, farm crops, fish, go home smoke n eat.

People... Let me knw if im inorrect, i believe outdoor growing( even in your own yard) is illegal, must be indoors in a locked secure room

I hear ya about the farming and ranching. I want to set up an aquaponics greenhouse down there to grow veggies and everything hopefully year round, see how well I can combat the cold lol. I also want to raise chickens, turkeys, rabbits, yak, maybe some pig every now and then to stock the freezer. Simple life man. Oh, and I am super excited to grow outside there as well. At 7800' above sea level, thats some serious rays. I'm hoping that means some serious trichromes too:blsmoke:

Today was a beautiful day. It did not hail, the wind did not howl, there was no snow and the temp was tolerable. Today was the rare exception to the rule about CO weather, it changes suddenly and without mercy. Ranching is hard, farming is too, both are extremely difficult in CO most of the time. But when it's nice the place is fucking beautiful.bongsmilie

Drove on old stage road today

Stopped on the side, enjoying mountains with my lady when a curious mountain lion comes towards us.

Thankfully I spotted it before the adult cat could get any further. We got outta there.

Nice views. Hungry wildlife though, like the recent spike of bears coming to city edge
