Although I have a decent grow in the works, I have chosen to document a sub-section of that grow, which is the germination, and hopeful selection of a GDP female from bag-seed. I know what you are thinking, but let me elaborate a bit, as this is not just a random seed from a teenth, nor is this some average cali outs... So, the story starts with an elbow of cali out GDP. This shit is crayon dark, and was sold as purple crayon! But the GDP flavor and smell is unmistakable. As I started to hand break a gram for a buddy and I to enjoy, a beauty of a seed hopped out. For the next three days I probably ruined about 7 or 8 ounces of that GDP looking for more, and all total I was able to recover 9 perfect seeds out of this ridiculous purps...
The bud on the left is for comparison, its master kush X mr. nice, a hybrid thats floating around on the east coast called Mr. Kush. So anyways, im thinkin to myself...hmm this is some killer weed that may be handing itself to me forever, or maybe it has ben polinated with something different, and I am in for a purp surprise. Either way, 5 of the seeds have germinated thus far, and they are as vigorous as any name brand seeds thus far.
These guys will be grown another two weeks in solo cups, then potted into 1-gallon squares where they will veg for just long enough to take two clones per plant, then rest for two days, then flowered into 3 gallon grow bags with super soil on the bottom, and FF mix on top.
Cross your fingers for more than one female to select from!
