I have asked and got referred to the site twice but no answer and Im sure somebody out there has grown these beans in the past. I have asked three times this time makes four my question is on G13 Labs 1. Thai S-Skunk and 2. Power Skunk. The site says it gets tall is that six feet or ten feet wtf is tall to me. If you grew it please tell me how tall yours was is that to much to ask. Any other info appreciated good or bad THANKS.:peace:

I have been reading around in the background here for a while now afraid but wanting to grow, Im on my third set of beans now the hardest part is putting up the the wise guys here the the tuds here but every time i loose it with the wiseguys you know who you are then along comes one of the nice guys and restors my faith in fellow growers again.
there is a lot to learn about this shit and a lot vof helpful people. But some need to lighten up some have a chip on shoulders some knowitalls and a couple nice guys. I guess Ill never get an answer now well may the god of growth smile upon your seeds. im out.

Your plant will get as tall as you let it get. It all depends on how much time you veg for. You could also top it to make it shorter and wider or lollipop it to make it taller and thinner. Leave the extra room for flowering since the plant will most likely stretch quite a bit. just remember it's a plant so you can cut it back if it gets to big just try to make sure you do the cutting in veg and have it where it needs to be for flowering.

I am no expert but from what I have read, it depends on the strain but it depends on the length of Veg. I have seen my Kush grow 2-3 times the size after starting Flowering. I run a very short Veg cycle as I am doing SOG (Sea of Green) so I start flowering a plan at about 12" and end up with 24"-30" plants.

And trim away, if she gets too big, lob her head off and get her down to the size you like. Experiment, dont be afraid, its only a plant, worst case you kill it and need to grow another. The next time at least you will know how the first one grew and be able to adapt Veg time etc to compensate.

Hope that helps.

I chopped mine as they do not seem to be a fit for me or my garden...but here is a couple of links just from threads I am sub. to. I know some people will get lippy and tell you to do a search...and it does Kinda work now.

Both are Sativa dom and will be kinda stretchy, so if you are limited by height...flower early, and just tie down if needed.

Here is a guy who is growing the Thai SS, this may not answer your height question but may be useful.

Here is a thread for the Power skunk

Hey Rich..

I don't know if I understand your question properly, but I think it gives two heights because there are 2 phenotypes. Since its from seed there is no way to know phenotype untill they grow for a bit. Hope this helps!

Never grown that strain, but might some day. From what I've seen tall means 10 feet plus outdoors. If you're going to grow this indoors, as with any strain that get's tall you're going to have some extra work to do to keep it manageable. Your veg time and what you do depends on how tall you can go.

What I would do, in a space where the plants could get 4 feet tall, is veg for a month, topping after it develops about six nodes, top above the second "True" node (someone's uncle) then pinch and LST it,.. Top each node again if you want and can have bushier. You need good light to get bushy. The point during veg, is more for allowing a massive root system and stalk to develop. Then when you switch to flower, your stems and roots will supply the buds with what they need to get huge.

If you're growing in soil, transplant at least once and make some shallow cuts in the rootball with a razor to top the roots. Each root will branch off behind the cut.

Keep tieing it back, and don't let it be more than 18 inches when the lights switch. Typically they get 2.5 times taller after the switch. You may want to build in 3X for this strain. I'd also veg 18/6 the whole time.

If you wanted to,.. you could have a plant with a stalk as thick as your forearm, lieing down. MJ is a very trainable plant.
