Yeah I was drunk and high, so why doesn't your stupid ass use some sort of romex, maybe 4 awg.

You must provide over current protection for the MLC-16 using an 80 amp double pole circuit breaker at the main panel (require a wire size of at least 4 AWG). According to google anyway.
